A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing having a first bearing part and a second bearing part integrally connected to a wheel bearing flange, and rolling bodies being guided between said bearing parts, includes a carrier element and a stop part. The carrier element is connected to the first bearing part, an elastic element is provided on the carrier element, and the carrier element has a fastening section connected to the first bearing part. The elastic element has a sealing lip. The stop part is fastened to the second bearing part and in sliding contact with the sealing lip. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection provided such that the projection protrudes in the direction of a cavity formed by an axial projection of the first bearing part. An inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.

Sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing

A seal arrangement for a wheel bearing having first bearing part and a second bearing part integrally connected to a wheel bearing flange, between which bearing parts rolling elements are guided. The sealing arrangement includes: a carrier element, which is connected to the first bearing part and an elastic element is provided on the carrier element. The elastic element has at least one sealing lip, and the carrier element has a fastening section, which is connected to the first bearing part. A stop part is fastened to the second bearing part with which the at least one sealing lip is in rubbing contact. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection at least partially surrounds an axial projection of the first bearing part, and an inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.

An ABS encoder arrangement including an annular disk core which bears a multipole structure, and a sealing ring element including an angular ring and an elastomer body forming a sealing lip structure, the angular ring including a lateral surface portion and an annular disk portion which protrudes radially inwards, the annular disk core being designed so as to project radially inwards beyond the inner circumferential surface of the lateral surface portion of the angular ring so as to form an annular projection, and a filling ring formed from an elastomer material being attached to the inner circumferential surface, the thickness of said filling ring being larger in radial direction than the size of the projection of the annular disk core in radial direction.

ABS encoder arrangement

A wheel bearing unit which has an outer ring, one or two inner rings and load-transmitting rolling elements arranged between the two rings. An orbitally formed shoulder of a wheel hub is provided for the pre-stressing of the wheel bearing unit via the inner ring, and a toothed ring which has an outward-facing radial tooth system is arranged on the inner ring, as is usual in wheel bearing units with all-wheel drive capability. The wheel bearing unit has a small axial width which benefits the handling characteristics of a vehicle by attaching the toothed ring to the orbitally formed shoulder and transmitting the drive torques via this attachment. Welding and a plastically formed tooth system on the orbitally formed shoulder are proposed as examples of such fastening.
