A cladding element having a heating layer in a sandwich construction. In the case of a cladding element in a sandwich construction for an interior space of an aircraft, the cladding element includes a core layer and a first cover layer. The first cover layer forms a visible side of the cladding element. An electrically heating layer extends at least across a sub-face of the first cover layer and serves for generating heat for emission through the first cover layer is disposed between the core layer and the first cover layer.

Modular seat system for a vehicle

The invention relates to a transport cart () for loading an aircraft galley, comprising a base element () and a plurality of wheels () attached to the base element (). Two frame elements () are connected to the base element () and disposed at a distance from each other. A first guide device (&#x2033;) is set up for engaging a complementary second guide device formed on a box that is receivable in the aircraft galley to be loaded and for transporting on the transport cart (). The first guide device (&#x2033;) is further set up for securing the box against displacement on the transport cart () in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (L) of the transport cart () when engaged with the complementary second guide device formed on the box. The transport cart () finally comprises a locking mechanism (') which is set up for securing the box against displacement on the transport cart in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (L) of the transport cart ().

Transport cart for loading an aircraft galley

Disclosed herein is a folding transport cart which in a parking configuration has a minimum extension and in an operative configuration has a maximum extension in a transverse direction. A folding transport cart can comprise: two side parts which extend substantially perpendicular to the transverse direction of the transport cart, and a folding base part which comprises two flat base segments which are each connected on one base side axis for articulated movement to one side part and are connected on a common base central axis for articulated movement to one another. In order to ensure reliable folding and unfolding the transport cart can comprise a base locking mechanism for locking the folding base part in the operative configuration and a cover part which is connected for articulated movement to one of the side parts.

A galley including a galley body on a cabin floor for accommodating storage boxes, appliances and at least one service cart; storage boxes for storing goods, and a service cart. The galley body has a plurality of vertical levels that are substantially equidistant from each other, each of the vertical levels divided into a plurality of laterally adjacent compartments whose horizontal and vertical dimensions are equal to an integer multiple of the respective dimensions of a single one of the storage boxes. A modular seat system for a passenger compartment of a vehicle, in particular an aircraft, with at least one seat which includes a seat unit with a seating element and a seat back, a seat frame with at least one pair of essentially vertical support elements, at whose upper end a bearing structure is arranged on which the seat unit rests, and a fixing structure in the floor of the passenger compartment with at least two longitudinal rails, which have a predetermined spacing from one another, for accommodating the lower ends of the support elements. In order to ensure a cost-effective and flexible fixing of standardized installation modules&#x2014;in particular passenger seats&#x2014;with different spacing of the mounting rails, there is provided a spacing device, which defines the spacing between the two support elements at their upper and/or lower end, so that the spacing of the support elements from one another is variable independently of the width of the seat unit.

A passenger seat unit comprises modular designed elements, such as at least one seat, and shield elements in the head and foot region. The shield elements are formed by seat dividers that are arranged opposite each other, which seat dividers comprise laterally arranged limbs of the partition wall. One side of the limbs of the partition wall encloses a wall element and forms a closed longitudinal side. The other side of the limbs of the partition wall forms a second longitudinal side which frames an access opening. The longitudinal sides comprise means for length adjustment. It is particularly advantageous if the passenger seat unit according to the invention makes possible more flexible and more economical use of the existing cabin area in passenger aircraft. Flexible adaptation to various cabin lengths is possible without effort.

Passenger seat unit, in particular for commercial aircraft

In a vertical conveyor arrangement for the transport of catering service goods in an aircraft with at least two decks arranged one above another, catering service goods are transported from a lower deck embodied as a freight deck into an upper deck. A conveyor arrangement is embodied according to the invention as a lift carriage, whereby the lift carriage is made up of a top structure with guide elements that are operatively connected with guide rails arranged above the freight deck, and a bottom structure that protrudes into the freight compartment in transport position, and that, for receiving a receptacle, comprises at least one cantilever arm reaching over the top side of the receptacle, a column element, side arms at least partially encompassing the sides of the receptacle, as well as a floor plate. The bottom structure forms a secured receiver for the receptacle. It is especially advantageous, through avoidance of a fixed lift installation in the freight compartment, not to hinder the throughgoing passability of the freight compartment in the loading with containers. Moreover, a reliable and continuous secure fixing of the transport receptacle is ensured during the lift operation.

Vertical conveyor arrangement for the transport of catering service goods in an aircraft with at least two decks arranged one above another

Passengers are transported in a cabin of a passenger aircraft in an upright position. For this purpose the aircraft cabin is equipped with passenger stands. Each stand has a passenger backing and a safety belt, preferably a three-point safety belt. The stands are positioned in a standing room area of the cabin which has a sufficient vertical clearance between floor and ceiling for accommodating passengers in the upright position. The passenger backing has preferably a shell-shape forming a back support as a lean-against portion and at least one side portion for privacy. The shell or flat backing wall may itself be connected either directly or through a post for an angular adjustment relative to the forward flight direction.
