An electromechanical actuator for controlling the delivery rate of reciprocating compressors, comprising: a movable rod designed to cooperate at one end with a suction valve of a reciprocating compressor and at the other with a moving element made of a magnetizable material; at least one chamber in which said moving element is housed and onto which at least one winding of an electromagnet positioned inside a seat facing said chamber protrudes, there being positioned between said winding and said chamber at least one protective element made of a non-magnetic material and provided with static sealing elements and designed to keep the winding of the electromagnet separated from the chamber in which said moving element is housed, characterized in that said protective element made of a non-magnetic material comprises at least two series of static sealing elements, a first series being positioned internally to the protective element and a second series being positioned externally to the protective element, with gas recovery holes being provided between said series of static sealing elements, and in that at least one hole for connection to a gas bleeding and washing circuit is provided in said chamber.

Material suitable for the manufacture of valve shutters for the cylinders of the reciprocating compressors comprising a thermoplastic matrix consisting of polyether ether ketone (PEEK) or polyether imide (PEI) or mixtures thereof filled with glass and/or carbon fibers, characterized by comprising, in percentages by weight at least one of the following inorganic nano-particles, or a mixture thereof: 4-30% of wollastonite, 4-30% of metal oxide, 4-30% of carbon nano-fibers, 4-30% of sepiolite, 4-30% of mixtures of silica and alumina, 4-30% of fluoro-mica for a total quantity of 4-30% of nano-particles.

Equipment for continuous regulation of the flow rate of fluid in a reciprocating compressor which has a compression chamber with a piston reciprocally movable therein. The compression chamber has an inlet valve and an outlet valve which delivers fluid to a reservoir. A translation device is movable to open the valve and allow closing of the valve. An actuator engages the translation device and includes a rod. The rod has a magnitizable central element located between solenoids of an electromechanical device. The central element is located in a prefixed position with respect to the solenoids under the resilient loading of a resilient device. Detectors are provided for detecting the position of the piston, the pressure in the reservoir and the position of the actuator.

Equipment for continuous regulation of the flow rate of reciprocating compressors

Method for controlling the position of an electromechanical actuator for reciprocating compressor valves. The actuator includes a member () movable in a direction parallel to the direction for opening and closing the obturator of the valve (), between a position corresponding to the closed position and a position corresponding to the open position of the obturator (). The member () is provided with a mechanism () able to act on the obturator () and with a magnetizable portion () co-operating with two electromagnets () and being arranged in equilibrium between the latter via a suitable mechanism.
