A multi-function lighting apparatus comprising a support structure, a light engine mounted on the structure, and a control unit controlling the light engine; the light engine comprising a first group of warm LEDs having color temperature ranging between 2000 and 2500 K and color rendering index ranging between 85 and 95; and a second group of cold LEDs having color temperature of at least 5000 K and color rendering index ranging between 65 and 75; the control unit being a two-channel driver control unit which controls independently the warm LEDs and the cold LEDs and is configured to control the light engine to emit white light with variable color temperature and luminous flux according to at least three different modes performing a lighting function, a plant maintenance function, and a sanification function respectively, as the color temperature and the luminous flux emitted by the light engine vary.

Multi-function lighting apparatus

A lighting apparatus comprises a plurality of light modules; each module comprises: a hollow body provided with a light box having a light exit opening and housing a LED light source controlled by a control unit; a diffusing screen positioned on the opening to uniform the light passing through the opening; a closure cover, positioned above the diffusing screen; a transparent capacitive film positioned on a face of the closure cover and connected to the control unit to define a touch control device of the module; the modules are shaped as respective polyhedral sectors arranged around the first axis and each module defines an independent light module controlled by the respective touch control device independently of the other modules.

Method for controlling a lighting system

A lighting device extends substantially along a first axis and comprises a LED light source, which has a substantially hemispheric emission on a side of an emission plane, and an optical group, which is placed in front of the light source; the optical group is configured so as to intercept the light emitted by the light source and generate a light ring, which extends at 360&#xb0; around the light source on opposite sides of the emission plane and is substantially parallel to a meridian plane, which is perpendicular to the emission plane and goes through the axis of the lighting device.

Lighting device

A modular lighting system, comprising at least one module and auxiliary components which can be assembled together; the module comprising a support core, extending along an axis; a plurality of LEDs, arranged on at least one face of the core and axially spaced along the axis; a light body positioned in front of the LEDs and at least partly around the LEDs and having a lighting surface which transmits the light emitted by the LEDs to the surrounding environment; the modules and the auxiliary components are joined to each other by respective concealed mechanical and electrical connection devices, which are completely housed and concealed inside the modules and/or the auxiliary components.

A lighting system comprises a plurality of lighting devices interconnected with one another in a communication network, preferably a wireless communication network; the lighting devices define respective equivalent nodes of the network and are configured so that any one of said lighting devices of the lighting system selectively acts as a master, if an initial control input is received directly by that lighting device; and as a slave, if the initial control input is received by another lighting device.
