A ski boot sole for cooperating with a ski binding to releasably hold the sole in the binding, the sole having a forward toe sole extending rearwardly from the front of the sole to a forward gap, a toe exterior insert in the forward gap which is located over a forward depression in the base of the ski boot, a central sole extending rearwardly from the front gap, a heel exterior insert located in a rearward gap over a rearward depression in the boot base and a heel sole extending from the rearward end of the rearward gap at least to the end of the boot. The foregoing boot sole is in combination with the base of the boot, and the base has forward and rearward recesses for receiving toe holders rotating about longitudinally extending axes and heel holders rotating about a transverse axis for releasably locking the respective toe exterior insert and heel exterior insert to the binding. The foregoing ski boot sole and ski boot base are in combination with a ski boot binding having portions rotating in the forward and rearward recesses for releasably engagement with the toe exterior insert and the heel exterior insert. A toe interior insert and a heel interior insert can be attached to the respective exterior inserts for respective attaching devices.

A ski boot sole for cooperating with a ski binding to releasably hold the sole in the binding, the sole having front and rear recesses with front and rear fitting plates. The front recess and the front fitting plate are engaged by the front sole holder rotatable about a longitudinal axis for releasably holding the front sole holder against displacement in the forward, sideways and vertical directions. The rear recess and rear fitting plate are engageable by the rear sole holder which is rotatable about a transverse axis. The rear sole holder butts against the portion of the fitting plate extending outside the border of the sole to secure the rear portion of the sole in the rearward, sideways and vertical directions.

In-line roller skate

A roller skate, of the type having a carriage or frame on which a series of running rollers is arranged in a freely rotatable manner, the frame being provided with a device for fastening to the rigid sole of an item of footwear which is temporarily releasable to enable the position of the footwear and the carriage relative to one another to be altered. The fastening device has a pair of substantially stationary cross-members, each of which accommodates rotatable cam means which are connected eccentrically at the top to the rigid sole of the footwear in order to adjust the position thereof with respect to the carriage and to fasten it in the desired position.

By interposing between the roller-carrying frame of an in-line roller skate and a rigid plate positioned inside the shoe an insert of elastomeric material having lugs projecting upwards and passing through the sole of the shoe, vibrations and bumps caused by the running of the rollers on the ground are intercepted and damped.

A padding (14), which is covered internally with a lining (18) and externally with a rigid layer (16), is provided in a tongue for the internal shoes of ski boots. The padding (14) is divided into a lower portion (14a) which is integral with the rigid layer (16) and an upper portion (14b) which is integral with a sliding insert (20) interposed between the upper portion itself and the rigid external layer (16). The position of the sliding insert (20) and thus of the upper padding (14b) varies between a lower limit position in which the sliding insert (20) is completely lowered and un upper limit position in which the sliding insert (16) is completely raised.

In an inner lining shoe (10) for ski-boots an integral or one piece tongue assembly (12) consists of a tongue (14) connected to a fore part of upper (16), said fore part of upper (16) being joined to a rear portion of upper (20) by means like sewings (34,36) and to a sole (24) by joining its lower peripheral edge (38) to a peripheral edge (40) of said sole.

The tongue for the anatomical liner of a rigid-shell ski-boot consists essentially of a front portion 10, made of rigid material, intended to engage with the internal wall of the boot, and a rear portion 12, generally padded, intended to engage with the user's leg. Between the front portion 10 and the rear portion 12 there is provided a substantially longitudinal recess 24 designed to receive filling material and/or elements 28, 50, 52 for modifying the thickness of the tongue. Strips 32, 14 for securing the filling material and/or elements 28, 50, 52 inside the recess 24 are also provided.

In an internal lining shoe (10) for boots, particularly ski boots, a fore tongue (15) is floatingly anchored to a vamp (11), in order to slide with respect to the vamp (11), through action of a resilient returning strip (19); the lining shoe structure being of a type not having excessively rigid areas reducing shoe comfort.

This lining consists of an assembly of flexible panels assembled to constitute a kind of slipper having two lateral pockets opening to the rear for introducing a one-piece padding into the pockets, this padding extending to the rear on either side of the lining. The two lateral pockets extend on both sides in the front portion of the lining and comprise at the rear a substantially vertical opening. Furthermore, the lining comprises an outer one-piece sheathing covering the lower rear portion of the upper, the heel and the lateral portions at the rear of the two front lateral pockets. This sheathing is fastened permanently to the upper along its upper edge and detachably, at least through its vertical edges, to the other portions of the lining, so as to cover the edges of the openings of the two front lateral pockets. The one-piece padding is detachably housed under the sheathing and in the lateral pockets.

Inner lining for sports footwear having a rigid or semi-rigid shell

This fastener notably for sports boot comprises an indented strap secured to one portion of the boot and a rack associated with the strap for nipping the latter with the assistance of a yoke. The rack is engageable by a transverse element carried by one end of an arm pivoted to a tightening lever mounted on the other portion of the boot.
