An optical system includes at least one optical element which has an optically effective surface and which is designed for an operating wavelength of less than 30 nm. The optical system also includes a heating arrangement for heating this optical element and comprising a plurality of IR emitters for irradiating the optically effective surface with IR radiation. The IR emitters are activatable and deactivatable independently of each other to variably set different heating profiles in the optical element. The optical system further includes at least one beam shaping unit for shaping the beam of the IR radiation steered onto the optically effective surface by the IR emitters. The optical system also includes a multi-fiber head comprising a multi-fiber connector for connecting optical fibers. IR radiation from a respective one of the IR emitters is suppliable by way of each of these optical fibers.

Optical system for use in an underwater environment

A detection optical unit () of an optical apparatus is configured to produce an imaged representation () of a sample object () on a detector (). An adjustable filter element () is arranged in a beam path of the detection optical unit () that defines the imaged representation (). A controller is configured to drive the adjustable filter element () to filter the spectrum of the beam path with a first filter pattern (-) and with a second filter pattern (-) and to drive the detector () to capture a first image, associated with the first filter pattern (-), and to capture a second image, which is associated with the second filter pattern (-). The controller is furthermore configured to determine a focus position () of the sample object () based on the first image and the second image. The first filter element (-) here defines a first line and the second filter element (-) defines a second line.

An arrangement for adapting the focal plane of an optical system to a non-planar, in particular spherical or spheroidal object, wherein the optical system has a positive total refractive power and generates a real image. The optical system also comprises an optical element with a negative refractive power. Principally useful in all technical fields with the corresponding requirements relating to a curved focal plane, the arrangement is useful in ophthalmologic devices. For image recording purposes, an object is illuminated at a plurality of illumination angles. A detector captures a plurality of images (-) of the object for the plurality of illumination angles. An electronic evaluating device applies an image correction to at least some of the plurality of images (-), said image correction comprising a displacement (T, T), wherein the displacement (T, T) depends on the illumination angle () used when recording the respective image (-).
