The invention concerns a method for producing a complex nonwoven fabric which consists in continuously producing a complex wherein a first web of a cellulosic fibres is continuously sandwiched between two webs of spunbonded filaments, and which consists in: producing a first web of spunbonded filaments, the bundle of extruded and drawn filaments being received on a mobile conveyor belt in the form of a non-bonded lap; depositing on said web by airlaid process a second web of cellulosic fibres; depositing on the textile web a second web of non-bonded continuous filaments; transferring the resulting complex onto an installation for water-jet bonding and hydro-entanglement consolidation; and in drying the nonwoven mixed product and then recuperating it, for example in the form of a cloth wind-up.

A process for obtaining a multilayer composite textile structure containing nonwoven fibrous sheets (2, 3) between which is incorporated a reinforcing structure consisting of continuous yarns or filaments (5), the various constituents being bonded together by mutual entanglement of the fibers of the sheets. According to the invention, two nonwoven sheets (2, 3) are produced in which the elementary fibers are arranged preferentially in the length direction. Between these two sheets (2, 3) there is incorporated a sheet (4) of weft yarns (5) which are arranged transversely, at a distance from each other. The sheet (4) of weft yarns is produced immediately upstream of the line of junction (6) between the two nonwoven sheets (2, 3), and downstream of this zone of junction (6) the composite formed is subjected to the action of a mechanical treatment which makes it possible to implant the fibers of one sheet (2) within the other sheet (3) (and optionally vice versa). The homogeneous composite is then reeled up.

Process for obtaining a composite textile structure based on nonwoven

A spunlace non-woven cotton-based cloth which can be repetitively laundered without significant deterioration in the mechanical and textile properties thereof, including cotton fibers impregnated with polyamide-amine-epichlorohydrin resin. The resin is present in an amount of 0.2% to 1.0% by weight, based on the weight of the cotton fibers.

Washable spunlace non-woven cotton-based cloth

A process for the production of a spunlace nonwoven cloth based on cotton fibers, which includes continuously advancing the cloth (1) based on cotton fibers, interlacing (2, 3) those fibers with the aid of a plurality of water jets under pressure, drying (8) the interlaced cloth, and, finally, taking delivery (10) of the spunlace cloth (9) thus obtained. After interlacing (2, 3) and before drying (8) the free water contained in the interlaced cloth (4) is drained (5), then the drained cloth is impregnated (6) using an aqueous solution of a polyamide-amine-epichlorohydrin (PAE) resin in an amount, measured as solids, of 0.2% to 1% of the weight of the cotton fibers, and after having expelled the excess solution, the impregnated cloth (7) is dried (8) at a temperature sufficient to at least trigger the cross-linking of the PAE resin deposited.

Process for the production of a cotton-based, washable nonwoven cloth

The process of treatment according to this invention is applied to a textile piece--weave, knit or finished article--constituted wholly or partly by yarns of continuous filaments with adherent microfilaments, obtained by star--or lamellar spinning, for example comprising six to eight unitary microfilaments of 0.2 to 0.4 dtex. It consists in subjecting said piece, resting on a support screen, to the action of jets of water at a pressure of at least 4.multidot.10.sup.6 Pa, whereby the structure of the piece is modified and the unitary microfilaments are separated.
