A reversing contactor apparatus in a single case is disclosed, comprising electro-mechanical locking means. These means which comprise a mobile mechanical locking piece, further having surfaces for actuating locking switches, are placed substantially in the plane of a median dividing wall, on each side of which each of the two contactors of the apparatus are disposed; these conductors connect these switches in series to each contactor coil and, respectively, to a connection terminal.

The appliance according to the invention has a front face with retention means adapted for cooperating with fixing means belonging to a removable label with rank or function identification characters. This label is molded over an electronic circuit comprising at least one visible light-emitting component, this circuit being connectable to terminals provided on the appliance by means of electric conductors.

A key attached, for example, to the door of an electrical equipment cubicle is capable of sliding within a passageway so as to cause pivotal displacement of a cam and upward displacement of a push-rod, thus releasing a switch lug. A locking rod forming part of a slide-block which is coupled with the push-rod is capable of moving between a locking position in which an annular channel permits displacement of the key and an unlocking position in which the locking rod is engaged within a key notch. One end of the slide-block projects from the top face of the switching unit head in order to be downwardly displaced by an actuator, whereupon the key can be withdrawn without difficulty or danger.

An electric protection apparatus is provided for protection against current faults of different intensities, including, in series in an internal circuit, a first switch with automatic opening, which is controlled by moderate current levels, and a second switch with automatic opening having short circuit current limiting properties; a zinc oxide voltage limiting component, which is placed in parallel across this latter, has a fairly low stabilization threshold so that diverted currents, flowing through it at the time of opening on a short circuit, extend as far as the resistive portion of the characteristic which follows the stabilization level portion.

An electromagnetic switching apparatus with interchangeable switches is provided, including a base with a bottom and a cavity containing an electromagnet whose mobile armature, through a disconnectable transmission piece, actuates the mobile contact of a switch housed in an insulating case removably associated with a fixing face of the base opposite the bottom, said fixing surface including openings for the passage of said transmission piece, said base having connection terminals connected to contact pieces which cooperate with corresponding pieces connected to the switch.

Electromagnetic switching apparatus with interchangeable switches

A small electrically operated valve in which a control solenoid sub-assembly is mechanically associated in a non-dismantleable fashion by means of a face with the corresponding face of a pneumatic switching sub-assembly having a valve member. Each of the two sub-assemblies is of plastics material and comprises passage portions which may be brought into aligned relationship to form at least one aligned passage capable of receiving at least one small cylindrical metal pin, a first end thereof being positioned below the surface at which the entry of the aligned passage opens, while the other end is in the vicinity of a metal protective portion which is positioned inaccessibly in either one of the two sub-assemblies and which is disposed substantially transversely to the axis of said aligned passage.

This invention relates to a system for interconnecting pluggable logic modules, for example in industrial automation or process control systems. The modules incorporate flexible connecting members which enable them to be plugged directly onto the ends of a series of parallel metal pins which are arranged in a regular pattern on one or more insulating supports, the pins having conductive portions intermediate their ends which are accessible from the side of the supports to which the modules are plugged, the said conductive portions of the pins being standarized so as to allow conductors which interconnect the modules to be readily attached to said sections.
