A cover electrically couples multiple storage cells of an electrical energy storage module. The cover has electrically conductive contact sockets which are embedded in an electrically insulating material of the cover and taper inwards on their insides, and into which terminals of the storage cells can be inserted to make electrical contact. Two connections are provided, one of which forms a positive terminal and the other of which forms a negative terminal of the electrically coupled storage cells. Multiple conductors electrically couple the storage cells, in particular for coupling the storage cells in series, in a predefined manner. The conductors are completely accommodated inside the cover, and the cover can be mounted on the storage cells such that it can be detached non-destructively.

Cover for electrically coupling multiple storage cells of an electrical energy storage module

A method operates a storage system for a vehicle. The storage system has a first storage module and a second storage module for providing electrical energy to or for receiving electrical energy from a distribution network. The distribution network is coupled to an electrical motor of the vehicle. The first storage module is coupled by a direct current voltage converter to the distribution network. The method determines whether an amount of a voltage difference between a power supply voltage of the distributor network and a first storage voltage of the first storage module is equal to or less than a voltage threshold value. The method carries out one or more measures for increasing the amount of the voltage difference when it is determined that the amount is equal to or less than the voltage threshold value.

Multiple storage system and method for operating a multiple storage system

A current source arrangement includes a first current source having a first terminal and a second terminal; a second current source having a first terminal and a second terminal; and a DC/DC converter having a first terminal pair and a second terminal pair. The DC/DC converter is designed to convert a first direct voltage applied at the first terminal pair into a direct voltage output at the second terminal pair, and/or to convert a first direct voltage applied at the second terminal pair into a direct voltage output at the first terminal pair. The first terminal pair of the DC/DC converter is connected in parallel to the first current source, wherein the second terminal pair of the DC/DC converter is connected in series to the second current source. The second terminal pair of the DC/DC converter and the second current source are connected in parallel to the first current source.

Energy storage arrangement comprising multiple energy stores

The rechargeable battery arrangement includes a first plurality of series-connected first charge storage cells, a second plurality of series-connected second charge storage cells, and a third plurality of series-connected third charge storage cells. The arrangement further includes a first converter having a first connection pair is connected to the third plurality of series-connected third charge storage cells, and a second connection pair, connected in series with the first plurality of series-connected first charge storage cells. A series connection consisting of the first plurality of first charge storage cells and the first converter is connected in parallel to the second plurality of second charge storage cells. Moreover, the first converter is configured to convert at least one of a voltage and a current supplied by the third plurality of series-connected third charge storage cells, and to output said voltage and/or current at the second connection pair. In addition, a lowest potential of the second plurality of series-connected second charge storage cells forms a first connection of the accumulator arrangement, and a highest potential of the second plurality of series-connected second charge storage cells forms a second connection of the accumulator arrangement.
