The device comprises a foot (7) equipped with two pairs of mutually opposite lugs (10A, 10B, 12A, 12B) one of which carries a crosspiece (11) having a portion (18) in the form of a wedge which points towards a slot situated between the lugs (12A, 12B) of the other pair, the crosspiece (11) having a body (17) in which a housing (19) is formed for a metal nut (4) with which the threaded metallic shank of a screw (3) engages, the screw (3) serving to drive the crosspiece (11) towards the base member (5) so that the lugs (10A, 10B) of the first pair flex while the wedge (18) causes the lugs (12A, 12B) of the other pair to bend outwards. The annular fastening device comprises a male attachment element (2) of moulded plastic material, a female attachment element (3) of moulded plastic material, and a flexible strap (4) which is attached at a first end to the male attachment element (2) and at a second end to the female attachment element (3). A seat cover includes a hem which is peripheral to an opening for introducing the cover onto a seat, together with a fastening device, the strap (4) of which is inserted through the said hem. In accordance with a method of securing the cover to the seat, a cover is used, which is slid over the seat and which is stretched over the seat cushion of the seat by means of the annular fastening device (1).

Annular fastening device

An automatic tool for rapidly setting rivets or like fasteners of the expansion type supplied in strip form. It comprises a magazine for receiving a strip of rivets in which the rivets can advance stepwise so that the leading rivet faces the outlet orifice. A breech movable longitudinally along the axis of the outlet orifice and provided with a barrel fitting over the rivet mandrel and over the rivet head so that the rivet is fetched into a setting position, well clear of the magazine, in order to enable same to be set visually. A striker sliding along the axis of the breech is provided with a pin which strikes the mandrel of the rivet through the barrel and drives it into the body of the rivet and causes the rivet to be secured in the assembly holes. A double-acting detent and trigger actuating mechanism is so devised that an initial phase of operation of the detent causes the breech to advance while a second phase of operation of the detent causes the striker to act.

A fixing member on a support having a noncircular receiving orifice and having two flat faces, comprising two supporting portions coupled to each other by a rigid rod and spaced apart by a distance equal to the thickness of the support, the first portion having an apparent contour equal to that of the receiving orifice and having two axes of symmetry, the second portion comprising at least two locking bosses for the fixing member rigidly fixed to an elastic member, each of said bosses having an external contour the form of which is complementary to two diametrically opposite parts of the internal lateral face of said orifice, the assembly of said bosses having a plane of symmetry passing through the longitudinal axis, said plane of symmetry forming with the corresponding plane of symmetry of the contour of the first portion an angle equal to a fraction of a turn of predetermined value.

A clamp for fixing tubular elements, constituted by a one piece moulded member comprising, mounted on a base for attachment to a wall: a collar with two arms for receiving the tubular element to be attached provided with one orifice for introducing said element inside the collar, said orifice being formed by the space between the free extremities of said arms, the inner face of said collar having the shape of a portion of the outer face of the element; a security cam formed by a member the general shape of which is cylindrical, articulated by one of its extremities onto one of the arms of the collar, having at the other extremity a shoulder cooperating with one shoulder formed on the other arm of the collar in order to lock the cam onto the collar.

The present invention relates to extremities for decorative mouldings, mounted on decorative mouldings of metal or synthetic material and fixed on a support by means of clips co-operating with orifices formed in the said support. The end-piece, according to the invention, forming the extremity of the decorating moulding mounted on a support, is essentially characterized by the fact that it is constituted by a unit made of one piece and comprising, in combination, a head in two parts, the first of which constitutes the finish of the moulding at its extremity, while the second forms the reception member for the extremity of the moulding and a clip for fixing the second part of the head on the support of the moulding, constituted by a panel of pre-determined thickness provided with a corresponding orifice for receiving the said clip.
