The present disclosure generates a digital twin of the interior of a vehicle to initiate and track maintenance issues. In one aspect, the digital twin is formed using multiple captured images of the interior of the vehicle where multiple components in those images are identified using a machine learning (ML) model. The components identified by the ML model are then mapped to a model (e.g., a 3D model) of the components that lists their location in the vehicle and an identifier (e.g., a part number or serial number). In this manner, the digital twin can identify, using the identifiers, the various components in the images captured by a camera.

Digital twin generation and logging for a vehicle

An example system includes at least two transceivers configured to be coupled to an interior of a cargo compartment of an aircraft, and to detect radio frequency identification (RFID) signals from an RFID tag coupled to baggage stored in the cargo compartment. The system also includes a processor configured to perform operations including receiving the signals detected by the transceivers. The operations also include based on runtimes of the signals, determining a respective distance from the baggage to each transceiver, where the respective distance defines a boundary centered at a known location of the transceiver and along which the baggage is estimated to be located relative to the transceiver. The operations also include identifying locations at which the boundaries of the transceivers intersect and, based on the locations, detecting an estimated storage location of the baggage. The operations also include controlling a display device to display the estimated storage location.

Automated aircraft baggage localization

A system for consumer goods management includes at least one sensor and at least one processor. The at least one sensor is configured to identify consumables and provide tracking information corresponding to the consumables. The at least one processor configured to acquire consumption information for a trip to be performed; determine a meal plan based on the consumption information, the meal plan specifying a plurality of types of consumables, quantities of the types of consumables, and a storage arrangement of the types of consumables; and acquire the tracking information from the at least one sensor to implement the meal plan.

Vehicle consumer goods systems and methods

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method that includes: collecting seat sensor data associated with a plurality of seats in a vehicle; selecting a first subset of data from the collected seat sensor data; providing the first subset of data to a fault detection model; receiving, from the fault detection model, one or more detected seat component faults; and generating, based on the one or more detected seat component faults, a seat condition map associated with the vehicle.

A portable electronic device for assessing an affected area of an aircraft is disclosed. A reference marker having a known size is located on the aircraft. The portable electronic device includes a processor in communication with a structural database, where the structural database includes a template that defines a maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft. The processor executes instructions for determining an actual size of the affected area based on the known size of the reference marker. The processor also executes instructions for comparing the actual size of the affected area with the maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft. The processor further executes instructions for determining that the actual size of the affected area exceeds the maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft.

Augmented reality system for assessing an affected area of an aircraft

A system for assessing an affected area of an aircraft is disclosed. A reference marker having a known size is placed along an exterior of the aircraft. The system includes a portable electronic device including a processor in communication with a structural database. The structural database includes a template that defines a maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft. The processor executes an instruction for determining an actual size of the affected area based on the known size of the reference marker. The processor executes an instruction for comparing the actual size of the affected area of the aircraft with the maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft. The processor executes an instruction for determining if the actual size of the affected area exceeds the maximum allowable size of damage to the aircraft. The processor executes an instruction for determining a further action.

Methods and systems for augmenting situational awareness using a controllable window are described. An environmental condition within a field of view of the controllable window is determined. Light transmissivity of the controllable window is selectively changed based on the determined environmental condition. In some implementations, multiple points of view can be provided to multiple viewers.

A method includes receiving visual flight rules (VFR) data and determining a suggested path of approach for an aircraft based on the VFR data. The suggested path of approach may correspond to a flight path of the aircraft to a runway of an airport. The method includes highlighting a representation of the suggested path of approach at a display device.

A method and apparatus for predicting fuel for an aircraft. Remaining amounts of fuel that will be present for types of fuel use for the aircraft at a destination are predicted. Flight times for the types of fuel use are calculated from the remaining amounts of fuel predicted for the types of fuel use for the aircraft at the destination. Graphical indicators are displayed indicating the types of fuel use and the flight times for the types of fuel use.

Visual fuel predictor system

A system for determining an anchoring location of a marine vessel. The system includes a first computing device configured to capture location data of the marine vessel along a route of the marine vessel, and a second computing device. The second computing device including a memory area, a location component that determines location data of a marine vessel, and a processor. The processor is programmed to receive, from the first computing device, the location data of the marine vessel, determine, from the location data, a location along a route of the marine vessel that the marine vessel traveled a distance less than a maximum threshold distance over a predefined period of time, and identify the location along the route of the marine vessel that the marine vessel traveled a distance less than the anchoring threshold distance over the predefined period of time as an anchoring location.

A method and apparatus for managing a map of an airport. The map of the airport is displayed on a display device. A movement of a number of fingers with respect to a number of aeronautical objects on the map of the airport is detected. Information generated by an operation based on the number of aeronautical objects on the map of the airport is displayed in response to detecting the movement of the number of fingers with respect to the number of aeronautical objects on the map of the airport.

A system for display management based on operator stress level employs a biosensor detecting stress level of an operator. A biomonitoring system receives input from the biosensor and provides an output responsive to a threshold of stress. An operational display control receives the output from the biomonitoring system and modifies an information display based on the stress threshold.

A method and apparatus for managing a route for an aircraft or managing a map of an airport. The map is displayed on a display device. A movement of a number of fingers with respect to a number of aeronautical objects on the map is detected. The route for the aircraft is changed or information generated by an operation based on the number of aeronautical objects on the map is displayed in response to detecting the movement of the number of fingers with respect to the number of aeronautical objects on the map.
