A drug delivery assembly comprising an indicator adapted to move during expelling of a dose amount of drug, the amount of movement being indicative of the size of the expelled dose amount, and electronic tracking sensor circuitry adapted to with pre-determined intervals to change the operative state from a sleep state to a low-power detection state and back to the sleep state. When in the detection state, the electronic sensor circuitry is adapted to detect motion of an activation component, and if motion of the activation component is detected, then change the operative state from the low-power detection state to a high-power measuring state in which the amount of motion of the indicator relative to the tracking means can be determined.

A drug delivery device is provided comprising a housing having an exterior surface, drug ex-pelling means comprising an indicator member arranged to move corresponding to an action performed on or by the drug delivery device, and a carrier foil on which is formed or mounted an energy source, electronically controlled communication means, and a processor adapted to (i) receive input from the drug delivery device indicative of indicator member movement and (ii) control the communication means. The flexible carrier foil is mounted on the exterior of the housing, and the flexible carrier foil is covered at least in part by a sealing foil covering directly or indirectly the thereon formed or mounted components, whereby a sealed interior space for the components formed or mounted on the flexible carrier foil is formed between the housing exterior surface and the sealing foil.

A drug delivery device is provided comprising a drug-filled cartridge or means for receiving a drug-filled cartridge, and drug expelling means comprising expelling means for expelling an amount of drug from the cartridge, and an indicator member arranged to move corresponding to an action performed on or by the drug delivery device. The present invention relates to an indicating device for use with medical injection devices for administering a drug into the body of a subject user wherein the indicating device is configured for indicating after administration that a dose of the drug actually has been administered and for maintaining this indication until lapse of a pre-defined time interval. The time delay indicator disclosed is based on a mechanical time delay device and includes a visual indicator that is controlled by the mechanical time delay device for signalling the status of the device during lapse of the pre-defined time interval.

Drug delivery system comprising a main portion with a cap as well as a needle assembly with a needle mounted in a hub and a needle cap releasably mountable on the hub to cover the needle. The cap comprises gripping means reversibly operatable between a first condition in which there is no gripping engagement between the mounted cap portion and the needle cap, this allowing the cap portion to be removed from the main portion without removing the needle cap from the hub, and a second condition in which the cap portion grippingly can engage the needle cap of a needle assembly, this allowing the needle cap to be removed from the hub together with the cap. The present invention relates to a medication delivery device comprising a reminder unit for reminding an individual having a medical diseases to take a medicament. The reminder unit comprises means for providing a reminder signal to the individual having the medical disease, the reminder signal being triggered by data associated with a previously occurred event, the associated data being stored in a storage means. Alternatively, the reminder signal may be triggered by a position signal generated by position determining means adapted to determine the position of the medication delivery device.

A frontloaded injection device that includes a cartridge holder into which a replaceable cartridge containing a fluid is inserted. The cartridge holder includes a closing element such as a pair of claws which are displaceable in a radial direction. The closing element is provided at the front of the injection device and locks the cartridge by gripping at the neck part of the cartridge after the cartridge has been loaded into the cartridge holder from the front of the injection device. The closing element is preferably biased in an outwardly radial direction when the locking element is moved axially out of the cartridge holder.
