A coupling for attaching a transmission to a drive shaft includes a circumferential intermediate piece including a drive-side flange, an output-side flange which is axially connected fixedly to the drive-side flange, and longitudinal webs connecting the drive-side flange to the output-side flange and configured in one piece with the drive-side flange and with the output-side flange. An electrical machine has a braking element and a release device. A rotor of the electrical machine includes the braking element and release device. The electrical machine is located, for example, in a rail vehicle. Clutch hub

A gear coupling for connecting a drive shaft and an output shaft includes a first coupling portion adapted for connection to the drive shaft and a second coupling portion adapted for connection to the output shaft, Each of the first and second coupling portions has a driver toothing with an internal toothing and an external toothing in engagement with the internal toothing. An intermediate tube made of an electrically insulating material connects the first and second coupling portions with one another and electrically insulates the first and second coupling portions from one another. One of the first and second coupling portions surrounds an inner periphery of the intermediate tube and the other one of the first and second coupling portions surrounds an outer periphery of the intermediate tube.

A clutch device for connecting a driving machine part to a driven machine part comprises an elastomeric clutch which is arranged on a first drive-side or output-side end section of the clutch device. A tooth clutch is arranged on a second output-side or drive-side end section of the clutch device. Moreover, an intermediate shaft which connects the elastomeric clutch to the tooth clutch is provided. Moreover, the tooth clutch and the elastomeric clutch have restoring forces which are adapted to one another in such a way that, in the case of a radial displacement, the clutch device has both central running and axial offset compensation.
