This device for actuating a tip-up or sectional door comprises an elongated frame structure supporting a linearly movable member driven through a worm screw or a chain connected to the door to be driven, and secured at two upper points of which one is located at one end of the frame structure. This one end is secured to a fixed support formed with a vertical notch of which the bottom edge has a groove formed therein, the upper edge of this notch being limited by a surface located at a predetermined distance from the groove bottom. The frame structure comprises a support surface, for example in the form of a pin, and a locking surface, for example in the form of another pin, located at a distance from the first pin which corresponds to the predetermined distance. This frame structure can be fitted by a single person by anchoring the lower pin of the support and then raising the frame structure to a substantially horizontal position, so as to lock automatically the device in its operative position.

The invention relates to a ball cage consisting of a cylindrical sleeve 1 provided with ball seats 7, 8 intended to receive balls 9, 10 intended to cooperate with a worm 11. The sleeve 1 is intended to be mounted in a cylindrical tube 2. The balls 9, 10 are retained in their seats on the one hand by a narrowed portion formed at the intersection of the perforations 7, 8 containing the balls and of a helicoidal bead 13 extending over the inner face of the cage, and on the other hand by projections 15 to 18 provided at the outer ends of the perforations. The balls are forced into their seats. The ball gage is used in the operation of doors or gates.

Electromechanical operating device for a slidingly movable door, which device comprises a motor driving a worm on which is mounted a nut connected to the door which is is to be moved, said nut being secured in respect of rotation by a slide guide having a step at the point corresponding to the end of the stroke of the door. This step allows a certain rotation of the nut and constitutes a stop preventing the rearward displacement of the nut when the latter is acted on by means of the door. The nut is composed of two parts axially fastened to one another and mounted for rotation one about the other, these parts being so shaped as to ensure that they will be fastened together in respect of rotation with considerable angular play. The aim of the device is to prevent untimely unlocking of the closed door through the elastic torsional cocking of the worm.

Electromechanical operating device for a slidingly movable door

A linear actuator intended to actuate in particular the leaf of a door including a motor the output shaft of which is connected to a screw, for example a righthand screw, with which is engaged a nut, integral with which is an arm parallel with the screw and connected by a friction torque-limiter to an intermediate member fixed in rotation and intended to be connected to a member which is to be actuated, such as a leaf. The nut includes a first profiled portion turned towards the outside and designated to cooperate, when this nut is occupying only one end position, with a second profiled portion in the form of a bayonet joint connected to the face of a fixed member, this second portion surrounding at least locally the screw and the nut. This bayonet joint is orientated so as to prevent the nut, when it reaches this axial end position, from turning in the same direction as the motor shaft and the screw.
