A seat device with a seat, in particular a flight passenger seat, with a seat belt and with at least one functional unit which at least substantially differs from a functional opening and closing unit of the seat belt. The at least one functional unit is at least connected to the seat belt and/or is at least partly integrated in the seat belt.
