Embodiments relate to an electrical assembly () for converting a direct voltage into an alternating voltage, comprising a first supply voltage area () for distributing a first DC supply voltage, and a second supply voltage area () for distributing a second DC supply voltage. The electrical assembly () comprises at least one first power semiconductor () having an input terminal connected to the first supply voltage area () and an output terminal () connected to an alternating voltage output () of the assembly. The electrical assembly () further comprises at least one second power semiconductor () having an input terminal () connected to the second supply voltage area () and an output terminal connected to the alternating voltage output () of the assembly, wherein the first supply voltage area () extends on the side of the first power semiconductor () facing the input voltage terminal of the first power semiconductor (). Furthermore the second supply voltage area () extends on the side of the second power semiconductor () facing away from the input voltage terminal () of the second power semiconductor ().

Apparatus and electrical assembly for converting a direct voltage into an alternating voltage

Active EMC filter connectable between an electric power source and an electric load. The filter has capacitors (C&#xd7;N, C&#xd7;U) connected between active conductors of the power source and a star point electric node. A filter capacitor (Cst, CstU) is connected between the star point and ground. A half-bridge has two switching devices (T, T; T, T) connected in cascade between a positive supply voltage and a negative supply voltage. A smoothing circuit (RgN, LgN; RgU, RgU) is connected between a common node of the switching devices and the star point. A control unit (Drive_N, Drive_U) drives the switching devices (T, T; T, T) digitally either in an ON-state or in an OFF-state, such as to limit a leakage current.
