The micro-electro-mechanical system is provided with at least two separate anchoring elements (F, F) designed to be bound to a support. A anchoring element (F, F) is solidly linked to at least one beam (P, P) that can be deformed in bending, and two beams (P, P) respectively linked to two distinct anchoring elements (F, F) have different directions. A beam has a length L, a thickness e, and a height h, such that the stiffnesses KL in the directions of the length and of the height Kh are large and the stiffness in the direction of the thickness Ke is small.

In the disclosed laser gyrometer, the three resonant optical cavities of the block are connected to a cathode chamber by means of the three cathode capillary tubes and to a balancing chamber by means of three balancing capillary tubes. The axis of the cathode is identified with the axis of actuation. The block is actuated by means of an actuating ring in thermal contact with the cathode so as to provide for dissipation of the heat generated at the cathode. The invention makes it possible to solve the problems relating to wobble (or lack of dynamic balance) as well as thermal gradients.

An accelerometric sensor according to the invention comprises a plane pendulum structure presenting a test body suspended to a fixed part by at least two parallel blades, flexible in the plane of the said test body, in order to be able to move in translation in the said plane according to a sensitive axis perpendicular to the said blades. This test body comprises a moving support element linked to the said flexible blades and a test mass suspended to the said support element by at least a third and fourth blade parallel to the preceding ones and flexible in the plane of the said test body. The invention enables to reduce substantially the sensitivity to the transverse acceleration of the detection structure when it is submitted to an acceleration directed according its sensitive axis S.

Accelerometric sensor with plane pendulum structure

An accelerometer is provided using at least one sensor with flat pendular structure formed by micro-machining a fine monocrystal wafer and comprising a flat mobile mass suspended from the rest of the structure by means of two thin parallel strips situated on each side of the mass. The mass comprises at least one mobile capacitor plate disposed between two fixed capacitor plates provided on the fixed part of the structure. The mobile plate is brought to a voltage V.sub.O, whereas the fixed plates are respectively brought to voltages V.sub.1 and V.sub.2 which are capable of generating an electrostatic return force on the mobile mass.
