A plug connector housing is provided having a cable through-opening with a substantially circular cross-section. The plug connector housing has a cable outlet piece, which substantially has the shape of an angled cylinder. The cable outlet piece is configured to be fastened to the cable through-opening of the plug connector housing and is mounted for rotation in a peripheral direction relative to the cable through-opening.

The present invention relates to the field of holding frames () for modules () and in particular of holding frames () for a plug connector for receiving similar and/or different modules (). In order to provide a holding frame () that can be populated in an installed state with little of no additional space around the holding frame (), a base frame () which defines a plane transverse to an insertion direction of the module () into the holding frame () and which has mutually opposite end faces () and mutually opposite side walls () is proposed, as is a fixing member () which is attached to a side wall () of the base frame () and which allows deformation between an insertion state that allows the module () to be inserted into the holding frame () in the insertion direction and a holding state in which an inserted module () is fixed in place, along the insertion direction at least, by a latching lug () of the module () and by the fixing member (), wherein the fixing member () is so designed that the deformation includes movement of at least one fixing arm () of the fixing member () in the longitudinal direction of the side wall ().

Holding frame for a plug connector and methods of populating same

Holding frames for modules are provided and in particular holding frames for a plug connector for receiving similar and/or different modules and fixedly securing the modules within the holding frames.

For ease and modification flexibility in the manufacture of jumpers in a plug connector, according to the invention the housing cover () is equipped with a contact carrier () which is releasably clipped thereon. The contact carrier () can be made in two parts and can have an upper part () and a lower part (). These can be separated from one another and joined together in order to accommodate individual U-shaped contact pins () for bridging socket contacts () of the plug connector or also in order to remove and/or replug said pins. If necessary, the complete contact carrier () can also be exchanged for another contact carrier having a different bridge assignment. As a result, the operating state of an electrical system can be individually defined and modified. When the housing cover is open, an external test plug can be plugged in for maintenance purposes. Furthermore, the contact carrier () can have a certain mechanical 'play' for tolerance compensation in the housing cover () so that the contact pins () and the contact carrier () are not subjected to mechanical stresses during opening and closing of the housing cover ().

A holding frame for a heavy plug-type connector can receive identical and/or different plug-type connector modules. The holding frame comprises a main body which has two side parts which lie opposite one another, and at least one fixing clip which is held at least on a side part, and by way of which the plug-type connector modules can be fixed within the main body. The at least one fixing clip has at least one holding arm which moves parallel to the plane of the side parts during the introduction of a plug-type connector module into the holding frame. As a result, plug-type connector modules can be introduced into the holding frame particularly simply and even in the installed state of said holding frame. At the same time, the holding frame variant which is shown here is more stable than the previously known holding frames which have the same functionality.

The disclosure relates to a plug () to be mechanically and electrically connected to a corresponding mating plug, comprising a housing (), a protective conductor bridge (), and a plug insert. The housing () comprises at least one connecting section () to be connected to the plug insert, and the plug insert is mounted on the at least one connecting section (). The protective conductor bridge () can be inserted from above into the housing () or into retaining frame ().

For the purpose of transmitting signals without interfering radiation, a plug-in connector module is proposed which comprises an electrically conductive shell-type casing, with a connector insert, in a retaining body composed of insulating material. The plug-in connector module is held by locking device in a module mounting device which, in turn, is integrated into a plug-in connector casing. Within the shell-type casing, an electrically conductive contact with the shielding of a signal-carrying cable is provided, so that it is possible to dispose in the module mounting device, without mutual interference, both a plurality of plug-in connector modules having mutually independent earth potentials and plug-in connector modules which transmit a power supply, pneumatic supply or suchlike.
