A vehicle wheel arrangement includes a wheel with a wheel hub and a carrier element for mounting the wheel on a vehicle part and/or for arrangement of a power-transmitting unit. In a joined state of the vehicle wheel arrangement a joining portion of the wheel hub corresponds with a joining portion of the carrier element. In the joined state of the vehicle wheel arrangement, the wheel hub and the carrier element are connected to one another in form-fitting fashion at least in a circumferential direction of a wheel hub axis. The wheel hub includes, in a region of the joining portion, one or more fiber plies with fibers arranged unidirectionally in the circumferential direction of the wheel hub axis. Furthermore, a method can be used to produce a vehicle wheel arrangement having a wheel hub made of fiber-reinforced composite and a carrier element.

Vehicle wheel arrangement and method for producing a vehicle wheel arrangement

The invention relates to a wheel, especially for motor vehicles, comprising a wheel rim and a wheel disc, the wheel rim having a rim base made of fiber composite material. The invention is characterized in that the wheel disc () can be indirectly connected to the wheel rim (), in particular the rim base (), by means of a connecting element () which is designed and associated with the rim base () in such a way that the connected wheel disc () is not in contact with the rim base ().

A vehicle wheel comprising a wheel rim with a rim base made from fiber composite material and a wheel disc. The wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by a connecting element which is guided through a passage of the rim base and is received in the wheel disc. The wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with at least one connecting element and a seal element which covers in a complete and hollow manner a part of one or more adjacent connecting arrangements that extends across the rim outer side of the rim base. A circumferential edge of the seal element is glued in air-tight manner to the rim well. Alternatively, the wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with a connecting element and a flexible sealing layer made from plastic and completely covers, by coating, a part of the connecting arrangement which extends over the rim outer side of the rim base. An edge region of the flexible seal layer is connected in an air-tight manner to the rim base.

The invention relates to a device for producing a component made from a fiber composite material from a semi-finished fibrous product by means of a multi-part molding and infiltration tool with tool parts, the molding functional surfaces thereof forming, when the tool is closed, a cavity that defines the component. The device is characterized in that the tool () has a sealing frame () which is designed as a hollow body and in which the semi-finished fibrous product () can be arranged, and the tool parts () are configured and can be associated with the sealing frame () such that, when the tool () is closed, the tool parts () are connected tightly to the sealing frame ().

Device for producing a component from fiber composite material

A wheel includes a rim having a rim well and rim flanges, a hub, and at least three spoke elements. Each spoke element forms at least one spoke between the hub and the rim. The spoke elements are fastened to an inside of the rim in a form-closed manner or a form-closed and bonded manner. In the hub region, the spoke elements are supported on each other in a circumferential direction at abutting surfaces designed therefor. A method for producing the wheel is provided.

The invention relates to a method and a device for infiltrating a fiber preform of a component of fiber composite material with a matrix material. On the method side, it is proposed that an elastic coating () is applied onto the fiber preform (), wherein the elastic coating () is widened to form a gap space () between the fiber preform () and the coating (). The matrix material () is then fed into the gap space () and the elastic coating () is subsequently pressed against the fiber preform (). On the device side, it is claimed that an elastic coating () is arranged on the fiber preform () and means are provided, which are in operative connection with the elastic coating (), by which the coating () can be widened while forming a gap space () between the fiber preform () and the coating (). A matrix material () can be fed into the gap space () and the coating () can be pressed against the fiber preform ().

Device and method for infiltrating a fiber preform

The invention relates to a method for producing a wheel rim having a rim base of a fiber composite material. The problem to be solved by the invention is that of improving the production of the wheel rim, and especially to ensure a reliably functioning wheel structure which can be achieved with little financial and technical outlay. The problem is solved in that during the production of the rim base () a connection element () is joined to the rim base (), said connection element () being designed and arranged in such a way that a wheel disc () can be connected to said connection element ().

Method for producing a wheel rim with a rim base of fiber composite material

A mold system for a resin transfer molding process is presented, in which a cavity of a workpiece () to be produced is fully enclosed circumferentially by a multi-part shaping mold (). The shaping mold () is enclosed in a sealed manner by an outer, two or more part enveloping mold (). A method for consolidating a fiber composite component with this mold system and a method for producing a fiber composite component on the basis of the RTM process is provided, in which the intermediate space between a shaping mold () and a surrounding enveloping mold () is filled with resin during the resin injection. After curing the resin initially remains on the shaping mold () as a resin body but is destroyed during the demolding of the workpiece (), at predetermined breaking points. The demolding of the workpiece () from the shaping mold () is assisted.

Mold system and process for producing components by the RTM process

A wheel with a rim as well as a wheel spider, where the wheel spider has a hub and spokes. The wheel includes spokes including one or more linearly stretched textile strands as reinforcement material of a fiber composite and each linearly stretched textile strand runs at least once from the rim to the hub and back without interruption and thus forms at least one spoke. The textile strands are connected in a positive-locking manner and/or in substance with the hub and the rim. A process is provided for the manufacture of the wheel.

Wheel spider

A wheel includes a rim having a rim base and a two-part wheel spider. The wheel spider includes two molded parts. The first molded part forms the spokes having an open cross-section and is joined to the second molded part. The spokes of the first molded part are completely or partially closed along the profile length by the second molded part. The wheel spider is preferably integrated in the rim in an interlocking manner. The rim and the two-part wheel spider can consist of metal, but in particular preferably of composite fiber material.

A one-part wheel which is made of fiber composites without interruption of fibers with excellent mechanical properties and with low weight at the same time as well as a process for the manufacture thereof. The wheel has especially a rim well as well as a wheel disk passing over into a wheel flange of the rim well, where the wheel disk is formed at least partly by fiber layers, which run from the rim well over a wheel flange and the wheel disk. The wheel is manufactured by a multipart mold with parts displaceable at least in the axial direction. The mold is completely removed after the deposition of fibers or remains as a lost core in the wheel.

Wheel made of fiber composites and process for the manufacture thereof

A rim well with integrated flange made of fiber composite as well as to a method for manufacturing same. The flange is formed by inwardly directed protuberances of fiber layers of the rim well, wherein the fiber layers transition to the flange from the rim well without interruption of the fibers. The manufacture is carried out by depositing fiber material on a mold, which corresponds to the contour of the rim well and has a radially circumferential or segmented groove. The fibers are deposited such that the fibers of at least one fiber layer have protuberances directed into the groove. A multipart mold, which makes it possible to reduce the width of the groove and thus a deformation of the protuberances, is preferably used.
