The invention discloses a flexible bag assembly for cultivation of cells, comprising one or more bags forming a plurality of cultivation compartments, wherein a drain port in at least a first cultivation compartment is adapted to be fluidically connected with a second cultivation compartment upon opening of a valve means. It also discloses a bioreactor with the bag assembly mounted on a rocking tray and a method of cultivating cells in the assembly.

Bag assembly for cultivation of cells

A method for regulating parameters of at least two bioreactor bags individually, which bioreactor bags are provided on one and the same rocking part of a bioreactor system. The method includes the steps of: determining an individual weight of the content in each bioreactor bag at different points in time during processing; regulating one or more parameters in each bioreactor bag in dependence of the individual weights.

An attachment arrangement for providing a sensor in a flexible bag, said attachment arrangement comprising: a sensor holding part adapted to be integrated with the flexible bag and comprising first locking part protruding out form the flexible bag, the sensor holding part holding an optical sensor inside the flexible bag; an adaptor part provided outside the flexible bag and adapted to hold an optical fiber, the adaptor part comprising second locking part adapted to mate with the first locking part to lock the first locking part and the second locking part together such that the optical fiber can communicate with the optical sensor inside the bag.

A rotary valve comprising a stator with an inner stator face, and a rotor with an inner rotor face arranged in sealing contact with the inner stator face, the rotor is rotatably movable to a plurality of rotor positions about a rotational axis relative to the inner stator face, the stator comprises a plurality of connection ports each being in fluidic contact with a corresponding valve orifice at the inner stator face and the rotor comprises two or more interconnection paths for selective fluidic interconnection of said valve orifices with respect to the rotor position. Wherein the stator comprises, a main inlet port, a main outlet port, a first component feed port, a first component return port, a second component feed port, a second component return port, and wherein the interconnection paths in the rotor are arranged to: &#x2014;in a first rotor position interconnect the main inlet port with the main outlet port, &#x2014;in a second rotor position interconnect the main inlet port with the first component feed port and the first component return port with the main outlet port, &#x2014;in a third rotor position interconnect the main inlet port with the first component feed port, the first component return port with the second component feed port, and the second component return port with the main outlet port, and &#x2014;in a fourth rotor position interconnect the main inlet port with the second component feed port and the second component return port with the main outlet port.

Random access rotary valve

A rotary valve for selectively connecting at least one component () into a fluid path. According to the invention the inner stator face () comprises orifices (--) and said inner rotor face () comprises at least a first groove (), a second groove (), and a third groove () so arranged that the rotary valve can take at least three different rotary positions, in which either both components are bypassed, only one of the components is connected and the other bypassed or both components are connected to a main flow.

A rotary valve () for distributing a flow of a fluid is provided, the valve comprising a stator () and a rotor (). Furthermore a chromatography system, comprising such a rotary valve and three different components or component groups connected to the valve is provided. With this rotary valve according to the invention the flow direction is kept constant through one of the three components or component groups while the flow direction through the other two component or component groups can be changed.

Flow distributing valve

A rotary valve adapted for injection of a fluid sample into a flow path. According to the invention one and the same valve can be used to input flow from a system pump, a sample pump and a syringe. A loop could be filled from both the sample pump and the syringe and the loop can be emptied by the system pump whereby for example a column is filled. Furthermore the sample pump can be used to pump directly to the column.

Rotation valve for sample injection

A rotary selection valve where different components can be selected in different rotation positions of the valve and furthermore the flow through the components can be reversed by rotating the rotary valve.
