The invention relates to a heat exchanger of the type which is constructed from a number of heat exchanger elements (1) consisting of a tubular jacket (2) with thermal transfer tubes (3) lying within the jacket. The heat exchanger elements (1) are joined together to form a heat exchanger, in that each end of a heat exchanger element is provided with a modular unit (4) which constitutes the frame of the heat exchanger. A jacket connection (5) is connected to each two modular units (4) and constitutes an extension of the tubular jacket (2). The jacket connection (5) is designed as an H pipe.

This is particularly important when the strip is formed into a roll, since the tab parts which project outside the end surface of the roll can easily be damaged during handling of the roll.

A method of attaching a gripping device to a packaging laminate involves forming a recess in a packaging laminate that extends only a part of the way through the thickness of the packaging laminate. Molten plastic material is injected into the recess to cause the molten plastic material to become partly united with plastic layers that cover the central carrier layer of the laminate, thereby forming an anchorage device in the laminate. The gripping device can be attached to the anchorage device after the injection molding process or simultaneously during the injection molding process.

A method and machine for the manufacture of packing containers of the type where a number of packing container blanks are successively converted to packing containers, open at the top, which are filled with contents, shaped and sealed. The packing container blanks are advanced intermittently during the processing and filling between the different stations, which means especially in packing machines with several conveying elements, that the driving unit of the machine will be unevenly loaded and that the working of the machine will be uneven and jerky. To overcome this it is proposed in accordance with the invention, that the driving of the different conveying elements sould take place asynchronously in accordance with a similar but mutually offset pattern of movement. The one conveying element (6') will then be substantially at standstill during the advance of the second conveying element (6') and vice versa, as a result of which the driving unit obtains an appreciably more uniform torque curve so that uneven operaton and consequent wear and noise can be prevented.

An arrangement for the raising and transferring flattened tubular packing container blanks (2) from a magazine (3) to a conveyor arrangement comprises suction elements (18a and 18b) arranged on arms (15) movable in a curved path away from each other. The placing of the elements is such that the suction elements in a certain position (receiving position) of the arms are directed towards each other so as to allow engagement with, and attachment to, two opposite sides of a flat blank.
