An arrangement for feeding at least a part of a drilling machine in at least a first direction. A drilling system and a method are provided. The arrangement includes a first end portion, a second end portion, an outer cylinder, a piston and a piston rod. The piston and the piston rod are displaceably arranged in the outer cylinder such that the piston and the piston rod, the outer cylinder and the end portions delimits a first chamber and a second chamber for a pressure medium in the outer cylinder on a respective side of the piston. A valve is connected to the first chamber for reducing the pressure medium in the first chamber. The valve is arranged to be opened at an increased pressure in the second chamber.

A slide valve for a hydraulic percussion device. The slide valve includes a transition surface that is arranged to alternately be subjected to a working pressure and a tank pressure to carry out a reciprocating movement when the percussion device is in use. The slide valve includes at least one channel that is open at one end of the slide valve, and at least one displaceable pin that is arranged inside the at least one channel.

Slide valve, percussion device and method

A percussion device including a shank adaptor, a machine housing that contains a percussion piston that is arranged to carry out a reciprocating movement caused by the pressure from a hydraulic fluid and to strike the shank adaptor when the percussion device is in use. An elastic element is arranged radially outwards from the percussion piston to dampen the recoil from the shank adaptor. The machine housing has an inner surface that faces the percussion piston. The elastic element has an inner surface that faces the percussion piston and an outer surface that faces the inner surface of the machine housing. At least a part of the outer surface of the elastic element directly faces the inner surface of the machine housing.

Percussion device comprising a damping mechanism

A pressure accumulator for connection to a hydraulic fluid-driven percussion device. The percussion device includes at least one impact piston arranged to carry out a reciprocating motion caused by the pressure from the hydraulic fluid. The pressure accumulator is arranged in communication with a hydraulic fluid space of the impact piston. The pressure accumulator includes a space that extends at least partly around the impact piston when the pressure accumulator is mounted on the percussion device. A partition divides the space into two separate pressure chambers so that the pressure chambers are located an axial direction of the impact piston in relation to each other when the pressure accumulator is mounted on the percussion device. A first of the two separate pressure chambers is intended to be filled with a compressible medium. A second pressure chamber is in fluid communication with the hydraulic fluid space of the impact piston.

Pressure accumulator and percussion device

A hydraulic breaker hammer comprises a housing () with a longitudinal bore (), a cylinder sleeve (), and a cylinder sleeve () engaging rear end cover (), a hammer piston () reciprocally powered in the cylinder sleeve () for delivering blows to a working implement inserted in a guide sleeve () at the front end of the bore (), wherein the guide sleeve () is provided with radial openings () for communication of lubricant from a lubricant supply passage () in the housing () to the inside of the guide sleeve (), and the guide sleeve () is provided with external seal rings (-) forming annular compartments located between the lubricant supply passage () and the radial openings () for spreading lubricant on the outside surface of the guide sleeve (), a distribution valve () communicating with the pressure fluid source and the cylinder sleeve () and comprising both a clearance seal means () and a seat seal () for improved tightness, and a pressure accumulator () with an expansion chamber () divided by a flexible membrane (), wherein a movable membrane support member () is limited in its outward displacement by a bulge shaped projection () formed integrally with one of the expansion chamber walls ().

Hydraulic pressure accumulator

A hydraulic impact mechanism includes a housing with a cylinder bore, a forward working chamber and a rear working chamber, a hydraulic fluid supply passage connected to the forward working chamber and a drain passage connected to the rear working chamber, a hammer piston reciprocally guided in the cylinder bore for delivering blows to a working implement attached to the housing, a pressure accumulator pre-loaded to a certain pressure level, and a distribution valve for alternatingly connecting the rear working chamber to the supply passage and the drain passage to thereby reciprocate the hammer piston, wherein a sequence valve is provided in the drain passage to keep up the pressure in the rear working chamber so that the resulting forward directed force prevents the piston from being moved backwards in the cylinder bore at pressure levels in the supply passage below the pre-load pressure level of the accumulator.

Hydraulic impact mechanism

A hydraulic breaker hammer includes a housing with a longitudinal bore, a cylinder sleeve, and a rear end cover engaging the cylinder sleeve. A hammer piston is reciprocally powered in the cylinder sleeve for delivering blows to a working implement inserted in a guide sleeve at the front end of the bore. The guide sleeve is provided with radial openings for communication of lubricant from a lubricant supply passage in the housing to the inside of the guide sleeve and the guide sleeve is provided with external seal rings forming annular compartments located between the lubricant supply passage and the radial openings for spreading lubricant on the outside surface of the guide sleeve.
