A pallet for the movement of goods includes several individual parts connected to one another, including a loading part, which comprises a loading surface and a reinforcement section. The goods to be transported are placed on the loading surface of the loading part, and the reinforcement section is positioned below the loading part, along with a frame section, comprising a frame center section and a frame floor section. The pallet may be formed from a fire retardant material and may include a transponder for locating the pallet.

A pallet for the movement of goods includes several individual parts connected to one another, including an upper section and a frame section. The upper section includes a plurality of openings, which are located in recesses formed in the underside of the upper section, which help the escape of heat through the pallet. The pallet may be formed from a fire retardant material and may be certified to comply with the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Standard 2335 'Fire Tests of Storage Pallets.' The pallet may include a transponder for locating the pallet.

A process for the manufacturing of non-reinforced load carriers ( ) of thermoplastic material. Sheet-shaped work pieces ( ) and extended bar sections ( ) are manufactured by means of an extruder. The work pieces ( ) and bar sections ( ) are allowed to cool and post-shrink after the manufacturing. An upper and a lower deck member ( and respectively) are molded in a number of molds comprising mold halves. A first mold contains shaping cavities being a negative representation of the upper deck member ( ). A second mold gives shape to a lower deck member ( ). The work pieces ( ) are molded against each one cavity by means of vacuum and are pressed together while still hot whereby a hollow unit is formed. Skids ( &prime;) are molded in a similar way. The parts are allowed to cool and post-shrink whereupon they are joined with each other via a number of joining areas ( ).

Process for the manufacturing of a load carrier

A process for the manufacturing of thermoplastic products with a high creep strain resistance. The products are free from reinforcing additives. The process includes at least vacuum forming and/or blow moulding of a thermoplastic material such as a polyolefine. A number of product parts are manufactured from a number of preferably tube- or sheet-shaped work pieces. The work pieces are heated so that the thermoplastic material softens whereby they are given the desired shape by means of a mould and the influence of vacuum and/or pressure. The product parts produced are allowed to cool and post-shrink and are hereafter joined to a unit.

Process for the manufacturing of thermoplastic products with high creep strain resistance

Article made of thermoplastic material, which article is rigid and at least partly heat insulating. The article includes a laminate in at least parts of the article. The laminate includes a first and a second layer of solid thermoplastic material (A) and an intermediate layer of expanded thermoplastic material (B) with an average density of 50-800 kg/m . The thermoplastic materials (A) and (B) are the same or compatible materials. The article is manufactured according to a process comprising the steps a) forming of a solid outer layer, b) manufacturing of an intermediate expanded layer and c) the appendage of functional parts such as reinforcing profiles, guiding profiles, stacking profiles, hinge parts, pockets, label holders, profiles or holes for automatic handling, locking devices or the like.
