A reinforcement for concrete elements, comprising at least one elongated string formed of a smaller number of single fiber filaments which, when embedded in a matrix, form a fiber string, the exterior surface of which being coated with a particle shaped material, such as for example sand. The reinforcement comprises at least one or more loops, formed by repeatedly winding of said fiber string and that said loop(s) preferably are closed or laid in a continuous wind, the ends of the loops or the wind function as an end anchor for the reinforcement in the concrete element. A reinforcement system based on the reinforcement is also described. In addition, a method for fabricating such reinforcement system and a method for using such reinforcement system is also described.

Reinforcement for concrete elements and system and method for producing reinforced concrete elements

Procedure for fabrication of reinforcement elements for concrete, where an extended, preferably continuously fiber bundle (), especially of carbon fibers, impregnates () by a matrix of a plastic material followed by curing. The fiber bundle (), including a significant amount of single fibers, is brought after impregnation () and prior to curing () to cooperate with a particle shaped material (), preferably sand, as adhere to the fiber bundle surface mainly without coming in between the fibers and fixate to the surface by curing, for creation of a reinforcement element.

Reinforcement element and method of producing a reinforcement element

A protective device having a shell structure and being shaped from a plate-shaped material, in particular but not exclusively, adapted for covering of a sub sea structure, such as at least one pipe line (,), a Christmas tree or parts of such constructions. The protective device is designed as a downward open and upwards closed convex container or channel, comprising a substantially plane roof plate (,), e.g., two substantially plane and inclined side walls (,) which may end in an individual foot plate (,). The protective device or parts thereof is (are) designed with a shallow wave structure or with a weakly corrugated structure, the waves having a wave length (,) above 2.5 times the wave-height (h), and where the wave height does not exceed 10 times the thickness (d) of the plate-shaped material. As examples of usages the following may be mentioned: protection of constructions on land, lining of tunnels, building materials and modules for offshore living quarters.
