A process for collecting and storing data related to a condition of an absorbent product is disclosed. The process includes the steps of: receiving, in a server unit, measurement data related to said condition; storing said measurement data in a first database; adapting said measurement data to a format in which it can be utilized by at least one application program configured for analyzing said condition; storing the adapted measurement data in a second database; and providing access to said second database from at least one application program arranged for analyzing said measurement data. Also disclosed is an arrangement for collecting and storing incontinence-related data.

Process and arrangement for collecting and storing data related to a condition of an absorbent product

A method and apparatus for determining presence of an object to be tidied in a washroom. A beam is supplied to a surface of the washroom at a first location. A reflected beam received from the surface of the washroom or received from an object in the path of the beam to the surface is detected. The presence of the object is determined from feedback from the beam based on a comparison of the feedback with a detection result when the beam reflects from the surface at the first location. An object to be tidied output signal is issued indicating that an object to be tidied is present based on the determination on the presence of an object.

Means and method for detecting the presence of at least one object to be tidied in a washroom

An absorbent article for absorbing liquid discharge of a wearer when worn in the crotch region includes an absorbent core for doing the absorbing of the liquid discharge. A conductive layer is in electrical contact with the absorbent core. The article includes at least one set of first and second electrical contacts secured in intimate physical and electrical contact with the conductive layer such that when an electric potential is applied between the first and second electrical contacts, an electric current travels between them and through the conductive layer in such a way so as to follow a first relatively high impedance path along the conductive layer when the absorbent core is dry and a relatively low impedance path when the absorbent core is wet. This system allows a system verification check, even in the dry state, and the determination of the extent of the wet portion of the absorbent core.

Absorbent article comprising an elastic web material

A hydroentangled nonwoven material (), includes a mixture of randomized continuous filaments () and natural fibers (), wherein at least part of the staple fibers and/or the continuous filaments includes thermoplastic material. The nonwoven material is bonded in a non-random bonding pattern including a plurality of bonding sites () in which thermoplastic material included in the nonwoven material has been caused to at least partly soften or melt to create thermal bonds between the continuous filaments. A dispenser for rolls of flexible sheet material, each of the rolls having spindle elements extending axially outwardly beyond the ends thereof, wherein a first roll is located in a dispensing position. Alternatively, a second roll may be located in a reserve position. The dispenser further includes a stub roll position arranged to receive a first roll exhausted to a predetermined extent. Retaining elements are arranged on both sides of the stub roll position to support the spindle elements inserted into each end of a roll, wherein the retaining elements arranged for simultaneous release of the spindle elements when the dispenser is opened.

An absorbent product has a fluid permeable top sheet, a fluid impermeable backing sheet, and an absorbent core having an upper side, a bottom side, two longitudinally running sides and two laterally running sides. The product further has two longitudinally running barrier flaps at the longitudinally running sides of the absorbent core. The top sheet covers the upper side of the absorbent core. The top sheet, with the upper side of the absorbent core, also covers the longitudinally running sides of the absorbent core and part of the bottom side of the absorbent core, the top sheet extending between at least a portion of the bottom side of the absorbent core and the backing sheet. The top sheet is connected to the backing sheet at the bottom side of the absorbent core. The barrier flaps are connected to the backing sheet at the longitudinally running sides of the absorbent core.

Absorbent pants having a waist opening, two leg openings, and a waterproof outer barrier layer, which is arranged outside the pants layer. The pants layer has a surface area which is greater than that of the outer barrier layer and is joined in parts with itself or includes a device for enabling it to be joined in parts with itself, so that during use of the pants it alone constitutes the waist opening and the leg openings of the pants, and that the load-bearing parts of the pants and all of the parts lying against the body of the user are formed only from the pants layer. The pants are also elastic, where the outer barrier layer is essentially inelastic.

An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable upper sheet, a liquid impermeable bottom sheet, and an absorbent body between the bottom sheet and the upper sheet, and at least one longitudinally extending liquid barrier comprising an elongated elastic element and an elongated, essentially liquid-impermeable and inelastic material on each side of a longitudinal center line. A liquid impermeable top sheet with an aperture intended to lie in register with a wearer's anus and urethral orifice may also be included. An absorbent structure for use in an absorbent article such as a diaper, an incontinence guard, a sanitary napkin, or the like wherein the absorbent structure has two different material types, which are in direct or indirect contact with each other so that liquid can be transferred between the material types. The first material type is constituted by material which swells when absorbing body fluid and the second material type is constituted by material which collapses when absorbing body fluid, wherein the volume increase in the first material type is essentially equal to the volume reduction in the second material type when the absorbent structure is saturated with liquid, whereby the absorbent structure has substantially the same volume both in a wet and in a dry state.
