A plug-in connector device for a vehicle for transmitting data includes a first interface for connection to a vehicle and a second interface for connection to a connecting line, wherein the first interface and/or the second interface is/are formed as a connecting element, in particular formed as a plug or a socket, for establishing a connection according to an industry standard. A data interface for connection to a data line is electrically connected to the first interface in order to transmit electrical signals and/or data between the data interface and the second interface. The first interface is electrically connected to the second interface to transmit electrical signals and/or data between the first interface and the second interface. A connecting line is configured for connection to a second interface of the plug-in connector device. A vehicle includes a system having the plug-in connector device, and a vehicle has such a system.

The method also includes generating, with a controller of the trailer brake control device, at least one brake actuation signal for at least one friction brake of the vehicle trailer and a torque request signal for the electric drive, each based on the at least one acceleration request signal and the status signal. Furthermore, the method includes outputting the brake actuation signal and the torque request signal via at least one output and/or at least one interface of the trailer brake control device.

A vehicle network for a plurality of interconnected vehicles is disclosed. The network is in the form of a WLAN and has at least two access points. The access points are interconnected in a wireless manner, i.e., without using a wired backbone. A method is disclosed for establishing and operating a wireless network with a first communication unit, a second communication unit and a mobile communication unit. The first and second communication units are configured in each case as a server and the mobile communication unit is configured as a client. The mobile communication unit acquires connection set-up data of the first and second communication units. A wireless connection is established from the mobile communication unit to the first communication unit. The latter receives an instruction from the mobile communication unit via the wireless connection for configuration as a client of the second communication unit and the mobile communication unit transfers the connection set-up data of the second communication unit to the first communication unit. A wireless connection is then established from the mobile communication unit to the second communication unit.

A tractor-trailer combination includes a semitrailer tractor having a front axle and at least one drive axle having a predefined nominal axle load, a semitrailer having a first axle and at least one second axle, and an axle load adjusting device, which has an axle center height drive for the first axle enabling the axle load acting on the drive axle to be changed by adjusting a center height of the first axle, that can automatically switch into a starting assistance mode in which the second-axle axle load is increased to a starting-assistance axle load that is always below a predefined maximum axle load. An axle center height controller is adapted to automatically detect actuation of an off-road starting sensing device, and increase the second-axle axle load to an off-road starting axle load that is greater than the maximum axle load if the off-road starting sensing device is actuated.
