The present disclosure relates to an exhaust gas turbocharger, for example for a motor vehicle. The exhaust gas turbocharger includes a turbine including a turbine housing and a turbine wheel, a variable turbine geometry including a vane ring and at least one adjustable guide vane, and a spring arrangement including a disc spring structured and arranged to mechanically impact the vane ring in a direction of the turbine housing. The disc spring extends in a circumferential direction with respect to a rotary axis of the turbine wheel and comprises a disc opening that extends up to a radial inside of the disc spring. A heat shield of the spring arrangement extends in the circumferential direction and is arranged on a side of the disc spring axially facing towards the vane ring.

Exhaust gas turbocharger

At least one of a variable turbine geometry and a variable compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include a housing including a first housing wall and a blade bearing ring having at least one guide blade rotatably mounted thereon. A control lever may be included for adjusting the at least one guide blade between a closing position and an opening position. An actuating shaft may be connected to the control lever in a rotationally fixed manner along a rotation axis. The actuating shaft may be rotatably mounted on the housing via a passage opening disposed in the first housing wall. The actuating shaft may directly support itself on the first housing wall in the passage opening.

Variable turbine and/or compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger

A variable geometry may include a blade bearing ring, guide blades mounted therein or thereon in a rotatable manner, and an adjustment ring for simultaneously adjusting the guide blades. The adjustment ring may be in operative connection with adjusting levers of the guide blades, and may be mounted on the blade bearing ring via rollers. A roll engagement may be provided for each roller, which may be guided into and may roll onto the respective roll engagement. Each roller may have two guide collars between which a groove runs and on which the roller may roll onto the blade bearing ring. A rail may be arranged on the blade bearing ring, and may engage in the groove between the two guide collars for each roller. Each roller may be retained on the blade bearing ring and on the adjustment ring exclusively via the guide collars of the respective roller.

Variable turbine and/or compressor geometry for an exhaust-gas turbocharger

An actuating device for a valve of an exhaust-gas turbocharger may include a lever arm and a flap plate connected to one another for closing and opening the valve. The flap plate may have a concave recess, and the lever arm may have a spherical region configured in a complimentary manner to the concave recess of the flap plate. A holding device may be disposed on the flap plate and engage around the spherical region of the lever arm to secure the flap plate on the lever arm. The holding device may include at least two holding elements and a connecting element that connects the at least two holding elements.

Actuating device

A method for adjusting a barometric cell may include coupling the barometric cell to a control device via an actuating rod. The actuating rod may be movably mounted on a charging device in any desired position. The method may include applying a freely selectable pressure to the barometric cell so as to bring the actuating rod into contact with a stop, adjusting the barometric cell until a sensor registers a predefined value, and fixing the barometric cell on the charging device.

A variable turbine geometry may have a blade bearing ring and guide blades, each rotatably mounted therein via one of a plurality of respective blade bearing pins. An adjusting ring for adjusting the rotary position of the guide blades may be arranged on a side of the blade bearing ring facing away from the guide blades. The cover disc may define through-openings aligned with the blade bearing pins of the guide blades. The blade bearing ring may define at least one channel configured to create a pressure equalization between the control space and the flow space.

Variable turbine/compressor geometry

A charging device may include an actuating device for actuating a control device. The actuating device may be coupled to the control device via an actuating rod. The actuating rod may be coupled to the control device via a guide piece rotatably mounted at two points in an outer actuator lever.
