A vehicle tire has outer shoulders and two tread halves. The tire includes a tread having six block rows and a plurality of circumferential grooves. Mutually adjacent ones of the block rows are separated from each other by a corresponding one of the plurality of circumferential grooves. Each of the block rows has individual blocks separated from each other by mutually parallel essentially straight transverse grooves running at an angle to the axial direction of the tire. The circumferential grooves include first circumferential grooves having a maximum profile depth and second circumferential grooves having a second profile depth less than the maximum profile depth. The transverse grooves have a depth approximately corresponding to a maximum profile depth at first outlet locations. The transverse grooves have a depth corresponding to the second profile depth at second outlet locations.

Pneumatic vehicle tire

A pneumatic vehicle tire for commercial vehicles is provided wherein the wet traction properties are improved with simultaneously good rolling resistance properties. At least 120 transverse grooves are arranged in each of the central profile ribs over the entire circumference of the tire. The width (B) of the transverse grooves in the central profile ribs is maximally 1.5 mm at a distance of 3.5 mm from the profile surface, and the width of each inner circumferential groove is maximally 4 mm at a distance of 3.5 mm from the profile surface.

A regroovable tread profile of a pneumatic vehicle tire includes a regrooving indicator formed with an additional indent in the base of the depression in the form of a blind hole lying transversely in relation to the main direction of extent (U) of the groove and having a length of extent (A) and an indent depth (B), where (B) is formed such that B&#x3c;Aand B&#x3c;Aand B&#x3c;L and with a depth of extent (T) where T&#x3e;T, which is measured starting from the groove base inward in the radial direction (R) to the base bounding the indent radially inwardly. The depth of extent (T) forms the measure for the minimum regrooving depth and the depth of extent (T) forms the measure for the maximum regrooving depth.

A tread profile of a vehicle tire has profile positives such as profile blocks or tread bands that have sipes. The sipes have an approximately &#x3a9;-shaped geometry in plan view having two axial sections which are arranged approximately in an axial direction and which are arranged on a common, imaginary straight line with a spacing (a) to one another; a central bulge arranged between the axial sections, wherein the bulge has a maximum extent (b) measured in the axial direction; and, wherein a&#x3c;b, such that undercuts are formed.
