System and method for determining peripheral device configurations across a plurality of workspaces for seamless user peripheral device workspace ecosystem experience

A backend management server includes a hardware processor to code instructions of an automatic peripheral device pairing management system to receive a peripheral device identification (PD ID) associated with a wireless peripheral device from a manufacturer and the backend management server generating a temporary key to be associated with the wireless peripheral. The hardware processor to execute code instructions of a temporary key wrapping agent to wrap the temporary key in a transport private key and sending the transport private key-wrapped temporary key and PD ID for the wireless peripheral device to an assigned backend-coupled information handling system. A copy of the transport private key-wrapped temporary key is sent to the wireless peripheral device upon receiving a matching PD ID in a wireless peripheral device pairing query. The backend-coupled information handling systems may then verify and pair with the wireless peripheral device upon matching the temporary keys at both devices.

In some embodiments, an endpoint Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: receive telemetry data indicative of a utilization of the IHS during execution of a workload by a first cloud service; determine a difference between a capability of the IHS and the utilization; and at least one of: (a) in response to the difference being greater than a first threshold, migrate the workload to a second cloud-based service with higher performance than the first cloud service; or (b) in response to the difference being smaller than a second threshold, migrate the workload to a third cloud-based service with lower performance than the first cloud service.

An information handling system may validate a connection request received from a trusted platform module (TPM)-virtual (vTPM) module according to a policy, wherein the connection request originated from a virtual machine associated with the TPM-vTPM module which consumes services from a clustered vTPM domain service. In response to determining that the connection request is valid based on the policy, the system may determine the vTPM domain service associated to the TPM-vTPM module, and determine whether to route or redirect the connection request according to policy. In response to determining that the connection request is to be redirected, the system may transmit a response to the TPM-vTPM module, wherein the response includes redirect information to the vTPM domain service. In response to determining that the connection request is to be routed, the system may route the connection request to the vTPM domain service.

Context-based workspace personalization is provided using an experience ID. An agent can be used on a user computing device to monitor for context of a workspace. Based on context, the agent can generate and send a manifest and an experience ID generated from the manifest to a workspace management service. The workspace management service can use the experience ID to identify whether a manageability snapshot exists for the workspace in its current context. If so, the workspace management service can send the manageability snapshot to the agent which in turn can apply the manageability snapshot to customize the workspace to the user's preferences. When the user makes changes to configurations of the workspace, the agent can relay such changes to the workspace management service using the experience ID to thereby cause such changes to be reflected in a corresponding manageability snapshot.

Embodiments of systems and methods are provided to trigger migration of a workload from cloud-based resources to local resources, or vice versa. In the disclosed embodiments, an orchestration service receives telemetry data from a client system associated with a user and cloud resource usage data corresponding to the user from a plurality of cloud service providers. Before the end of each cloud computing service billing cycle, the orchestration service: uses the cloud resource usage data and/or the telemetry data to determine a cloud resource usage, which is expected for the user at the end of the cloud computing service billing cycle; generates a trigger to migrate the user's workload from cloud-based resources to local resources, or vice versa, based on the expected cloud resource usage; and initiates migration of the user's workload if a trigger is generated. As such, the orchestration service can be used to effectively manage per-user cloud resource costs.
