Techniques are provided for mobile platform based detection and prevention (or mitigation) of hearing loss. An example system may include a hearing loss indicator data generation circuit configured to measure hearing loss indicator data associated with use of the device by a user. The hearing loss indicator data may include ambient sound characteristics, user speech volume level and user volume setting of the device. The system may also include an audio context generation circuit configured to estimate context data associated with use of the device. The context data may be based on classification of audio input to the device and on the location of the device. The system may further include an interface circuit configured to collect the hearing loss indicator data and the context data over a selected time period and provide the collected data to a hearing loss analysis system at periodic intervals.

Mobile device based techniques for detection and prevention of hearing loss

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to improve efficiency of object tracking in video frames are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a clusterer to cluster a map of a video frame into blobs; a comparator to determine an intersection over union value between the blobs and bounding boxes in a second video frame; and an interface to initiate object detection by a neural network on the first video frame when the intersection over union does not satisfy a threshold.

Methods and apparatus to improve efficiency of object tracking in video frames

One embodiment provides a text metadata encoding logic. The text metadata encoding logic includes a metadata generation logic configured to generate a first text metadata including metadata for each identified text field included in a first image frame. The metadata generation logic maybe further configured to associate the first text metadata with the first image frame. The first text metadata may be transmitted at a text metadata bit rate. The text metadata bit rate may be less than an image data transmit bit rate. Another embodiment provides a text metadata decoding logic. The text metadata decoding logic includes a metadata reader logic configured to decode a text metadata received with an image frame data. The text metadata may have been transmitted at a text metadata bit rate and the image frame data may have been transmitted at a first image transmit bit rate. The text metadata bit rate is less than the first image transmit bit rate. The text metadata may include metadata for each identified text field included in an image frame corresponding to the image frame data. The text metadata decoding logic may further include a metadata rendering logic configured to render each text field based, at least in part, on the received text metadata.
