A coupling device for a tubular element comprises a hollow body having a housing, a cartridge locked in the housing in a first position, the cartridge then protruding from the hollow body, the cartridge having an outer wall and an inner wall delimiting an inner channel, the inner channel having a first end forming an inlet for receiving the tubular element and a second end provided with an obstacle, an annular seal and a fastening ring disposed in the inner channel in order to secure the tubular element in the inner channel in sealed manner. The coupling device comprises an unlocking system configured to allow, when the tubular element exerts a force against the obstacle, the unlocking of the cartridge and its movement to a second position, in which the cartridge is entirely incorporated in the hollow body.

Device for connecting a tubular element

A lock () for a tubular connection, blocked axially in a first tubular element and defining an axial opening () receiving a second tubular element provided with a circular collar, said lock () comprising elastically deformable cradles provided with inside bevels () designed so that, while the second tubular element is axially engaged, they move radially apart under the effect of the axial pressure of the circular collar, allow same to pass through, and then move back in to clamp behind the circular collar and to co-operate therewith to lock the second tubular element axially in the first tubular element. Each cradle () is provided with a raised axial ridge () with a width (l) less than the width (L) of the cradle (), and is intended during the axial engagement, to receive the axial thrust from the circular collar. A tubular connector is obtained with such a lock ().
