The techniques of this disclosure generally relate to a modular assembly including first and second stent-grafts. The first stent-graft includes a body portion having a first diameter and a waist portion having a second diameter less than the first diameter. The waist portion is at a distal end of the first stent-graft. The second stent-graft includes a captured proximal portion configured to be located within the first stent-graft. The captured proximal portion includes a seated portion configured to be located proximal to the waist portion. The seated portion has a third diameter greater than the second diameter to form a mechanical interlock between the first stent-graft and the second stent-graft.

Methods, systems, devices and apparatuses to support the walls of one or more blood vessels and perfuse blood through the one or more blood vessels. The stent device allows perfusion through one or more vessels. The stent device includes a tubular member. The tubular member has a single body that includes a main body lumen, a bypass lumen and one or more branch lumens. The tubular member is configured to be inserted into the aorta. The main body lumen is configured to expand and support a vessel wall of the aorta and the one or more branch lumens are configured to connect to one or more extension grafts that extend within one or more branch vessels. The stent device includes multiple rings of stents. The multiple rings of stents are positioned within the tubular member and are configured to be expandable to expand the tubular member to support the tubular member against the vessel walls.

A stent-graft includes a graft material having a main body, a first leg, a second leg, and a transition region where the first leg and the second leg meet the main body. A main body transition stent is coupled to the main body. A transition stent support including a gusset is coupled to the graft material such that a transition apex of the main body transition stent is interposed between the gusset and the graft material, the transition apex being aligned with the transition region. The transition apex, which is susceptible to failure, is stabilized by the gusset in combination with a supporting ligament. The gusset and supporting ligament prevent flexing of the transition apex and the associated failure thereof.

A stent-graft prosthesis includes a tubular graft and a stent coupled to the tubular graft via a plurality of stitches. The stent has a sinusoidal pattern defined by a plurality of crowns and a plurality of struts. The stitches form a stitch path having a sinusoidal pattern that corresponds to the sinusoidal pattern of the stent. A width of curved segments of the stitch path that are disposed over crowns of the stent is configured to permit relative longitudinal movement between the stents and the tubular graft. A width of intermediate segments of the stitch path that are disposed over struts of the stent may be configured to restrict or permit relative circumferential movement between the stents and the tubular graft. The stitch path may include a plurality of transverse stitches in order to prevent exposure of the crowns beyond the stitch path.

A circumferentially constraining suture for an endovascular prosthesis having a tubular body and a plurality of stents coupled to the tubular body includes a first thread coupled at a first end to one of the stents and a first thread loop disposed opposite the first end. The first thread extends only partially around a circumference of the tubular body in a radially expanded configuration. A second thread having a second thread loop is interlocked with the first thread loop and extends from the first thread loop around a remainder of the circumference of the tubular body. Pulling the second thread causes the first thread to circumferentially constrain the tubular body to a reduced diameter configuration. A trigger wire inserted through the first thread loop retains the first thread such that the tubular body is in the reduced diameter configuration after removal of the second thread.
