A lamp for a vehicle includes: a lamp module configured to project a light having a beam pattern onto a road surface; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium coupled to the at least one processor having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: obtaining vehicle driving information associated with driving of the vehicle; determining, based on vehicle driving information, a light adjustment region; and based on the determination of the light adjustment region, performing a gradual control of light projected to the light adjustment region, the gradual control of light configured to progressively change a brightness of light in the light adjustment region.

A lighting apparatus for a vehicle may include a light output unit; an interface unit; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to control the light output unit to generate light that illuminates an exterior of the vehicle. The at least one processor may also be configured to receive first information via the interface unit; and control the light output unit to display, via the light that illuminates the exterior of the vehicle, a visual image corresponding to the received first information. The at least one processor may further be configured to receive second information via the interface unit; and control the light output unit based on the received second information to change the visual image displayed by the light that illuminates the exterior of the vehicle.

The operations include receiving vehicle driving information, and controlling the lamp module to project at least one of a state indicator or an operation indicator based on the vehicle driving information. The state indicator includes a projection image corresponding to first information that conveys a state related to the vehicle to an occupant of the vehicle, and the operation indicator includes a projection image corresponding to a user action to be performed by the occupant of the vehicle.

A lamp device for a vehicle includes a lamp housing and a light-emitting unit disposed therein. The light-emitting unit includes a light-emitting surface adjustable in at least one of a shape, an intensity of illumination, or a color of illumination. The lamp device further includes a bracket that supports the light-emitting unit to be mounted in the lamp housing, and that is configured to change the shape of the light-emitting surface of the light-emitting unit. The lamp device further includes a driving unit configured to apply a driving force to the bracket that changes the shape of the light-emitting surface of the light-emitting unit. The lamp device is configured to at least partially change, based on a plurality of lighting modes, at least one of the shape of the light-emitting surface, the intensity of illumination emitted from the light-emitting surface, or the color of illumination emitted from the light-emitting surface.

The first and second connectors may include a catch for mating with the first and second hangers, and the catch of the first connector is configured to be adjustable to mate with the first hanger.
