A portable information handling system supports a flexible OLED display film over housing portions rotationally coupled by a hinge by folding the OLED display film over the hinge. Hinge brackets that couple to the housing portions each have a helical member that extends into an associated helical guide of the hinge main body. Hinge bracket rotation translates through the helical guides for synchronized housing rotation. The hinge main body has first and second circular portions extending along its length to define first and second rotation axes about which the hinge brackets pivot so that the display film has space to fold in the closed position.

Synchronized dual axis pivot hinge

A lever-operated latch device includes an assembly of a case body, an actuation body mounted on the case body, a linking member and a slide body. The actuation body has a free end and a pivoted end pivotally connected with the case body in cooperation with elastic members. The free end of the actuation body is formed with two protruding arms and an opening section positioned between the protruding arms. An operation section is disposed in the opening section. The linking member has a first end pivotally connected with the free end of the actuation body (or the operation section) and a second end connected with the slide body. When an operator presses the operation section, the actuation body is permitted to move from a closed position to an opened position so as to drive the linking member and the slide body to move.

A uniform distribution support structure of rotary shaft link assembly includes a rotary shaft assembly and a support assembly. The rotary shaft assembly has multiple connection members. Each connection member is formed with a hollow section and a perforation. A guide face is disposed in each hollow section. A spacer shaft rod is disposed between each two adjacent connection members. The rotary shaft assembly has multiple connection members side-by-side disposed between the first and second supports. Each connection member is correspondingly formed with at least one hollow section. The synchronous rotational assembly passes through the hollow sections of the connection members to respectively connect with the first and second supports, whereby the connection members are transversely serially connected to drivingly bend and connect along with the synchronous rotational assembly. The connection members respectively shield a part of the synchronous rotational assembly to provide a protection effect and reduce the dropped powder and oil leakage caused by the friction.

The first operation board has an arm section. The second operation board has an arm section. The arm sections of the first and second operation boards are respectively received in a first arched rail and a second arched rail of the main body. A rotary shaft link assembly shield structure is connected between a first support and a second support of two articles. The rotary shaft link assembly structure has a rotary shaft assembly, at least one flexible shield plate and at least one synchronous rotational assembly. The rotary shaft assembly has multiple connection members. Each connection member is correspondingly formed with at least one hollow section. The synchronous rotational assembly passes through the hollow sections of the connection members to respectively connect with the first and second supports. The flexible shield plate also passes through the hollow sections of the respective connection members. A middle section of the flexible shield plate is bent in reverse direction and two sides of the flexible shield plate respectively shield two surfaces of the synchronous rotational assembly.

Rotary shaft link assembly shield structure

A double-screen rotary shaft structure includes two synchronous spiral channels disposed on the link shafts. Asynchronous assembly is slidably pivotally fitted on the two link shafts. Two bosses are disposed on the synchronous assembly and respectively inlaid in the spiral channels of the link shafts. Two connection members are respectively securely connected with the two link shafts. Two link assemblies are respectively pivotally fitted on the link shafts to synchronously move with the synchronous assembly. Two slide members are attached to lower sides of the connection members and formed with oblique slots. A guide slide connection member is disposed in each oblique slot and connected with the link assembly. The middle sections of two links are pivotally disposed on the connection members. Each link has a driving end pivotally connected with the link assembly and a driven end to drive the slide member.

Double-screen rotary shaft structure

A folding shaft structure of a flexible display screen includes an intermediate bracket, a pivot seat, and two movable seat panels. Two sides of an intermediate bracket each have an open groove. The pivot seat is disposed between the two open grooves. Two sides of the pivot seat, facing the two open grooves, are each provided with a curved guide groove and a guide pin. One end of the curved guide groove, away from an opening of the open groove, is a curved tilted end. Each guide pin is disposed close to one end of the curved guide groove away from the curved tilted end. Each movable seat panel has a protruding portion inserted in the open groove. One side of the protruding portion is provided with a protruding pin inserted into the curved guide groove and a guide groove for insertion of the guide pin.

Folding shaft structure of flexible display screen

A rotatable coupling device applied to flexible display screen includes two folding sections, a hinge disposed between the two folding sections and at least one responsive structure, which is connected with the folding sections. When the folding sections are unfolded/folded around the hinge, the responsive structure is unfolded/folded along with the folding sections. The folding sections and the responsive structure are relatively displaceable so that during the unfolding/folding process, the transmission of the deformation amount on inner and outer faces caused by the bending of the hinge can be interrupted. Therefore, the deformation amount is prevented from being further transmitted from the responsive structure outward. When the flexible display screen is coupled with the responsive structure, the responsive structure is able to absorb the deformation amount so as to eliminate the pulling or compression effect on the flexible display screen due to the deformation amount.

The second shaft and a third shaft are assembled with a driven module for rotating the third shaft and a transmission unit disposed on the third shaft. A link unit is disposed between the third shaft and a fourth shaft, whereby the fourth shaft and a reaction unit disposed on the fourth shaft can synchronously rotate with the third shaft. The multi-axis rotary shaft link device can freely rotate around multiple rotational centers, which can be smoothly opened and closed.
