A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, a gray scale correction circuit, a control circuit, and a data driver. The gray scale correction circuit provides a corrected red, green, blue (RGB) data set corresponding to a white image element. The control circuit receives an original RGB data set, and selectively outputs one of the original RGB data set and a corrected RGB data set according to a gray scale value of the of the original data set. The data driver provides a gray scale voltage to the liquid crystal panel according to the output RGB data set of the control circuit.

An exemplary liquid crystal display () includes a liquid crystal panel () having a plurality of pixel units (), a scanning circuit () configured to activate the pixel units, a data circuit () configured to provide data voltage signals the pixel unit via a plurality of data lines (), and a common voltage circuit () configured to generate a common voltage signal. Each pixel unit includes a pixel electrode (), a common electrode (), and a coupling member (). The coupling member is connected between the pixel electrode and a corresponding one of the data lines, and is configured to transfer an electrical potential shift of the corresponding common electrode to the corresponding data line when one of the data voltage signals is applied to the pixel electrode. The common voltage circuit is configured to compensate the common voltage signal according to a feedback signal obtained from the data lines.

In a process for producing a TFT display, a polysilicon layer is patterned to define a first and a second TFT regions. A first doping material is implanted into a first exposed portion in the first TFT region to define a first doped region and a first channel region, and implanted into a second exposed portion in the second TFT region to define a second doped region and a second channel region. A second doping material is implanted into a third exposed portion smaller than the first exposed portion to form first source/drain regions and simultaneously define a first LDD region in the first TFT region. A first and a second gate structures are formed over the first and the second channel regions, respectively. In a certain direction, the first gate structure is longer than the first channel, and the second gate structure isn't longer than the second channel region.

An ESD protection device with thicker polysilicon film, an electronic apparatus having the same, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The ESD protection device can be a diode or a MOS transistor with a thicker polysilicon film employed in an ESD protection circuit to protect an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a substrate having a device area and an ESD protection circuit area. A first polysilicon film of a first thickness is formed on the device area of the substrate, so as to form an electronic device. A second polysilicon film of a second thickness is formed on the ESD protection circuit area, so as to form an ESD protection device. The second thickness, which is preferably about in the range of 100 to 500 nanometers, is thicker than the first thickness.

A pixel testing method is provided. The pixel testing method is adapted to measure device parameters within each pixel of a display. Before plating a lighting device into each pixel, a capacitor is formed such that one end of the capacitor is connected to an open-circuit terminal of an electronic device while the other end of the capacitor is connected to an added common line (or the original scan line or data line of the display). The parameters of the electronic device connected to the lighting device are tested through a charging/discharging of the capacitor so that all the devices within a pixel can be tested before forming organic functional layer in every pixel.

Transflective display panel and fabrication methods thereof. A substrate with a transmissive area disposed thereon is provided. A planarization layer is deposited on the substrate and a hole is then formed in the planarization layer to expose the transmissive area. A first reflective layer and a second reflective layer are formed on the planarization layer in sequence. An etching process is then performed to pattern the first reflective layer and the second reflective layer to expose the transmissive area. The etching process has a first etching rate to the first reflective layer and a second etching rate to the second reflective layer, which is larger than the first etching rate. A transparent electrode layer is then formed on the second reflective layer and the transmissive area.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes a substrate defined with a plurality of pixel areas, a heating circuit structure disposed on the substrate, and a plurality of OLEDs corresponding to each pixel area. The heating circuit structure includes two conductive lines not connected to each other, a plurality of heating lines electrically connected to the two conductive lines and covering portions of each pixel areas, and a ground electrode.

A method and an apparatus for testing a plurality of driver circuits of an AMOLED before OLEDs are implanted are provided. The method and the apparatus select one specific driver circuit to be tested and dispose a conductive board above the array glass of the OLED to form a capacitor. By using the data line, the scan line, and the power line of an AMOLED, the present invention is able to input and retrieve signals from driver circuits for analyzing each of them is normal or not.

A method and a system for testing a plurality of driver circuits of an AMOLED before OLEDs are formed are provided. Each driver circuit includes a terminal, which is connected to an OLED after the OLED is formed, and is connected to a test element to form an electrical loop during the test. The system selects one specific driver circuit to test. The method and the system measure the value of a current signal flowing through the test element, and then analyze it to determine the status of the driver circuit. The said steps executed repeatedly, all driver circuits of the AMOLED are tested efficiently and precisely.

The active matrix is controlled by the driving circuit and comprises a second thin film transistor structure. The second thin film transistor structure includes a second gate, source and drain regions, a third LDD region, a fourth LDD region and a second channel region between the third and the fourth LDD regions. The second gate region is disposed over the second channel region and substantially overlaps with neither of the first and the second LDD regions.
