A driving device for a nail gun includes a striking unit and an air storage unit. The striking unit includes a striking cylinder connected to the nail gun and defining a cylinder chamber having an opening, and a piston disposed in and making an air-tight contact with the striking cylinder. The air storage unit includes an air storage cylinder including a protrusion that protrudes toward the opening and cooperating with the striking cylinder to define an air storage chamber that is in fluid communication with the cylinder chamber via the opening. When the piston moves in a pressure-generating direction, air in the air storage chamber is pressurized. The air storage unit further includes a lubricant disposed in the cylinder chamber and the air storage chamber, and flowing along the protrusion into the cylinder chamber to lubricate the piston.

Driving device for electric nail gun

An electric nail gun includes a main body unit, a hammer unit, and a motor unit. The hammer unit includes a hammer member that is adapted for striking a nail, and a resilient member that has two opposite ends respectively abutting against the hammer member and the main body unit. The resilient member of the hammer unit constantly provides a hammer restoring force for the hammer member to move in a striking direction for striking the nail. The motor unit is mounted to the main body unit, and includes a lifting wheel. The lifting wheel has at least one pushing portion that separably engages the hammer member, and that is operable to push the hammer member to move in an energy storage direction opposite to the striking direction such that the resilient member of the hammer unit is compressed and provides the hammer restoring force to the hammer member.

Electric nail gun

An electric power tool includes a motor, a lifter, a firing pin, an electromagnet, a driving circuit, a latch, and a controller. The lifter is driven by the motor to drive the firing pin to perform a firing action. The driving circuit provides electric current to excite the electromagnet. The latch is moved by the electromagnet from a blocking position where the latch blocks the firing pin to move in a firing direction to a non-blocking position where the latch does not block the firing pin when the electromagnet is in an excited state. The controller, during an excitement period, controls the driving circuit to provide constant current for a first time period to excite the electromagnet to the excited state, and provide pulsating current for a second time period to keep the electromagnet in the excited state.

Electric power tool and method of controlling the same

A pneumatic electric nail gun includes a muzzle unit, a striking cylinder that is connected to the muzzle unit, a piston rod subunit that extends movably from the striking cylinder into the muzzle unit, an electric unit that drives movement of the piston rod subunit from a standby position to a nail-striking position for striking a nail, and a connecting unit that includes a plurality of fasteners and a plurality of buffer members. The fasteners extend through the electric unit and secure the electric unit to the muzzle unit. Each of the buffer members surrounds a respective one of the fasteners and fills a space between the respective one of the fasteners, the electric unit and the muzzle unit for shock absorption during a nail-striking process.

Pneumatic electric nail gun

An electric nail gun includes a nail-striking subunit that is adapted to strike a nail, a lifting wheel that is movable to become engageable and not engageable with the nail-striking subunit, a driving member that is rotatable by a motor, and a transmission shaft that is movably connected between the driving member and the lifting wheel, and that is convertible between a first position, where the lifting wheel is engageable with the nail-striking subunit such that rotation of the driving member results in movement of the nail-striking subunit, and a second position, where the lifting wheel is not engageable with the nail-striking subunit such that rotation of the driving member does not result in movement of the nail-striking subunit.

A pneumatic pallet nailer includes a nailer body, a trigger member, a pallet clamp controlling member, a pallet clamp cylinder and a pallet clamp. The trigger member is disposed on the nailer body. The pallet clamp controlling member is disposed on the nailer body and includes an internal space, a first pipe, a second pipe, a third pipe and an actuating valve. The air in the nailer body is communicated with the internal space by the first pipe and the second pipe. The third pipe is communicated with the internal space. The actuating valve is movably disposed in the internal space, and the actuating valve is actuated and positioned at a first position or a second position. The pallet clamp cylinder is communicated to the third pipe. When the trigger member is pressed, the pallet clamp is actuated by the pallet clamp cylinder to clamp a workpiece.

Pneumatic pallet nailer

A nail gun includes a gun body, a safety unit and an adjusting unit. The safety unit includes a first safety member movable relative to the gun body, and a second safety member for being pushed by the first safety member. The adjusting unit includes a switch member movable between a deep-drive position and a shallow-drive position. The switch member has a first abutment surface aligned with the first safety member when the switch member is at the deep-drive position, and a second abutment surface aligned with the first safety member when the switch member is at the shallow-drive position.

Adjustable depth-of-drive nail gun

An air source controlling device for a pneumatic nail-gun includes a body, a choke valve and a switch. The body includes a controlling chamber for connecting a compressed air source, an air passage for communicating the controlling chamber and the pneumatic nail-gun, a switch channel communicating the air passage and an accommodation space, and an air vent hole communicating the accommodation space and an external environment. The choke valve is disposed in the controlling chamber and is switchable between a communicating status and a non-communicating status for controlling the opening or closing between the controlling chamber and the air passage. The switch includes an actuating member slidably disposed in the switch channel and the accommodation space without covering the air vent hole. A sealing member is disposed on the actuating member and is sealed with the switch channel. The actuating member activates the choke valve.

Air source controlling device for a pneumatic nail-gun

A nail gun includes a body, a valve unit, a nail striking member and a detector. The body has a nail path, an air chamber, and an intake chamber guiding flow of air into the air chamber. The nail striking member is drivable by air pressure in the air chamber for striking a nail in the nail path. The valve unit is operable to switch between unblocking and blocking states to respectively permit and prevent fluid communication between the intake chamber and the air chamber. The detector is connected pivotally to the body, and is contactable with the valve unit such that, when there is no nail in the nail path, the valve unit is controlled by the detector to be in the blocking state.

Nail gun having a dry firing prevention device

A metering valve includes a valve main body consisting of a body and a cover, a sliding rod and an elastic member. The body has a positioning hole, a metering chamber, a containing space, and two sealing pads disposed on two end portions of the metering chamber. The containing space is for assembling the gas cylinder. A groove is disconnected with the positioning hole, the metering chamber and the containing space. The sliding rod has two ends, wherein a gas channel is formed from one end toward an inner of the sliding rod, the sliding rod has a flange and a through hole, the through hole under the flange is for connecting the gas channel, and the sliding rod blocks a gas from the metering chamber by cooperating with the sealing pads. The elastic member in the groove is connected to the flange and the groove.

Metering valve

The present invention is to provide a nailing depth adjusting and positioning device for a power nailer in order to protect the distal thread and stabilize the operation. The device having a circular groove formed in a rotatable member and a retainer ring located in a link in order to prevent the rotatable member from being overly rotated (to protect the distal thread), and the disengagement of the device, and having a steel ball and a spring mounted in the rotatable member, the steel ball cooperates with the several gaps in the safety device to locate the rotatable member, such that the starting distance of the device may stably be adjusted. Thereby, the depth of nailing and the position may be successively maintained.
