A heat dissipation simulator of a component on a printed circuit board (PCB) includes a simulation board and a simulated heat source. The simulation board includes an iron layer and a plastic layer. The simulated heat source includes a simulation chip, a thermal, and a heat sink. The simulation chip, the thermal piece, and the heat sink are mounted on the simulation board in that order. The heat dissipation simulator replaces a sample of the PCB with the component for simulating working states of the component on the PCB.

Heat dissipation simulator

A fan device includes a board defining an opening and a fan assembly pivotably received in the opening. The fan assembly includes a fan and a frame receiving the fan. The frame includes a top wall, a bottom wall, and two sidewalls. A front plate extends down and diagonally forward from a front side of the bottom wall. A resilient limiting member is formed on one of the sidewalls. When a bottom of the fan assembly is pivoted rearward to make the fan assembly slanting relative to the board, the front plate is abutted a front side of the board, and the limiting member is abutted a rear side of the board.

Fan device

An electronic device enclosure includes a chassis defining an space, and a cover module. The chassis includes two opposite sidewalls locating at two sides of the space. The cover module includes a cover and a latching apparatus mounted to the cover. A first end of the cover is rotatably connected to first ends of the sidewalls, and the latching apparatus is mounted to a second end of the cover. A second end of one of the sidewalls defines a latching hole. The latching apparatus includes a latching member slidably mounted to the cover, a resilient member sandwiched between the latching member and the cover, and an operation member mounted to the latching member. The latching member includes a latching block. The resilient member biases the latching member to slide, to allow the latching block to latch in the latching hole.

Electronic device enclosure

A central processing unit socket assembly includes a socket mounted on a circuit board, a locking apparatus, and a cover. The cover includes a main plate, a resilient first locking portion formed on a first end of a first surface of the main plate, a second locking portion formed on a second end of the first surface of the main plate opposite to the first locking portion, and a number of connecting pins protruding out from a second surface of the main plate opposite to the first surface of the main plate. The first and second locking portion of the first surface of the cover can be detachably latched to the socket. The connecting pins can be connected on the locking apparatus.

A fastening device for fastening a data storage device includes a rack and a resilient tab. The rack includes a bottom plate to support the data storage device. Two first stop tabs protrude up from the bottom plate to abut against a first sidewall of the data storage device. Two first pins extend from the first corresponding stop tabs to engage in two mounting holes defined in the first sidewall. The resilient tab is attached to the rack to abut against a second sidewall of the data storage device. A second pin protrudes from the resilient tab to engage in a locking hole defined in the second sidewall.

Fastening device for data storage device

A server cabinet includes a rack and a server unit installed in the rack. The server unit includes a receiving portion extending rearward from a rear wall of the server unit adjacent to a sidewall of the server unit, a motherboard with a first connector, and a cable with a second connector. The motherboard is received in the server unit. The first connector is received in the receiving portion. The receiving portion defines a through hole adjacent to the sidewall. The second connector of the cable extends through the through hole, to be connected to the first connector of the motherboard.

Server cabinet

A fan includes a housing, a cable, a number of blades received in and mounted to the housing, a motor driving the blades to operate and receiving electric energy by the cable, and a switch mounted on a bottom of the housing and connected with the cable. When the fan presses the switch, the cable and the switch form a closed circuit. When the fan releases pressure from the switch, the closed circuit is opened.

An electronic device includes a chassis having a sidewall, a power supply detachably received in the chassis, a latching member, and a handle pivotably connected to the power supply. A first end of the latching member is fixed to the power supply, and a second end of the latching member detachably latches the handle. Two latching holes are defined in the sidewall of the chassis. The latching member includes two latching tabs engaging in the latching holes in response to the second end of the latching member latching the handle.

Electronic device with an apparatus for fixing a power supply

A server cabinet includes a housing and a number of cable management brackets longitudinally mounted to the housing. Each cable management bracket includes two opposite mounting portions mounted to the housing, and a base plate connected between the mounting portions. Each mounting portion defines a number of openings for cables extending through.

A server cabinet includes a housing, a switch, and two fastening members. The housing includes two posts. The switch includes two opposite sidewalls. Each fastening member includes a fastening plate with a first end of the fastening plate fastened to a corresponding post, a connection plate slantingly extending from the fastening plate, and two mounting plates respectively extending from a second end of the fastening plate and a distal end of the connection plate and perpendicular to the fastening plate. The mounting plates of each fastening member are fastened to a corresponding sidewall.

An electronic apparatus includes a chassis, a casing fixed in the chassis, a first resilient shielding plate and a second resilient shielding plate both made of electromagnetic radiation shielding material, and a drawer. The casing defines a receiving space. The drawer is slidably received in the receiving space. The first resilient shielding plate fits about a front end of the casing and abuts against the chassis. The second resilient shielding plate is fixed to a front end of the drawer, to abut against an inner surface of the casing bounding the receiving space.

Electronic device with electromagnetic radiation shielding

A server cabinet includes a rack, a server installed in the rack and defining an opening, and a shield apparatus. The removable shield apparatus includes a bracket mounted in the rack above the server, and a first shield plate slidably installed to the bracket for shielding the opening of the server to guide and restrict the passage of a cooling airflow.

A server rack includes a rectangular rack frame, and two mounting brackets. The rack frame includes four support posts. Each post includes a side attachment flange parallel to a lengthwise direction of the rack frame, and an end attachment flange parallel to a transverse direction of the rack frame. The rack frame defines an access in a front of the rack frame for a server unit sliding into or out of the rack frame. Each of the mounting brackets can be selectively fixed between the side attachment flanges of the corresponding support posts to support the server unit, or between the end attachment flanges of the corresponding support posts to shield the access, thereby preventing air from flowing through the access to decrease heat dissipation efficiency.

Server rack

An exemplary fan apparatus adapted for dissipating heat from an electronic component mounted in an enclosure includes a centrifugal blower, a mounting frame, a number of first fasteners and a number of second fasteners. A number of engaging portions are formed on the enclosure. The centrifugal blower defines an air outlet at one side thereof. A number of fixing portions are formed on the centrifugal blower. The mounting frame includes a number of connecting portions and a number of mounting portions formed thereon. The first fasteners fix the connecting portions of the mounting frame to the engaging portions of the enclosure, and the second fasteners fix the fixing portions of the centrifugal blower to the mounting portions of the mounting frame.

Fan apparatus with fan mounting frame

A server cabinet includes a housing and a slide plate. The housing includes a plate defining an opening. Two opposite slide rails extend from the plate, adjacent to opposite sides of the opening. The slide plate is slidably attached the slide rails to adjustably cover or uncover the opening. The slide plate defines a row of hooking slots. A latch protrudes from one of the slide rails to engage in one of the hooking slots for positioning the slide plate.
