The disclosure provides a restart control device and a restart control method. The restart control device is disposed in an electronic device. The electronic device includes a keyboard and a restart button. At least one assigned key of a plurality of keys of the keyboard is set. The restart control device determines whether the at least one assigned key is pressed, and determines whether the restart button is pressed. When determining that the restart button is pressed and the at least one assigned key is pressed, the restart control device provides a restart control signal to cause the electronic device to perform a restart operation. The disclosure can prevent an unnecessary restart operation due to a single restart button being mistyped.

Restart control device and restart control method

A temperature compensated oscillation circuit is provided. The temperature compensated oscillation circuit generates a first delay voltage and a second delay voltage according to the first resistance value. A first order term of a temperature change function of the first resistance value is eliminated. The temperature compensated oscillation circuit generates a reference voltage according to a first reference resistance value and a second reference resistance value. A first order term of a temperature change function of the first reference resistance value is set to equal to a first order term of a temperature change function of the second reference resistance value. The second reference resistance value is adjusted such that variation of the reference voltage matches a second order term of the temperature change function of the first resistance value, thereby providing a clock that does not vary due to a variation in temperature.

Temperature compensated oscillation circuit

A keyboard apparatus and a detection method for status of keys thereof are provided. The detection method includes the following steps. First lines of a key module in the keyboard apparatus are driven to a first potential. Whether any key on each of second lines in the key module is pressed is detected as a first detection result. The second lines are driven to the first potential. Whether any key on each of the first lines is pressed is detected as a second detection result. One of the first lines is sequentially selected, and a press status of each key on the selected first line is scanned through the second lines so as to generate a coarse scan result. The press status of each key is obtained and whether the press status is misjudged is determined according to the first and the second detection results and the coarse scan result.

Keyboard apparatus and detection method for status of keys thereof

An electronic apparatus and a method for detecting status of keys thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus comprises a key module, a key control circuit, a conversion circuit with calibration mechanism and a processor. The key control circuit detects whether any of keys in the key module is pressed. If the detection result is affirmative, the press status of each of the keys is scanned by the key control circuit to obtain a coarse scan result. The conversion circuit with calibration mechanism is configured to perform the other system function of the electronic apparatus. When the processor determines that at least one of the keys is not pressed according the coarse scan result, the conversion circuit with calibration mechanism is switched to assist a re-scan operation of the press status of the at least one of the keys.
