Display with TFT

A display device includes: a substrate; a thin film transistor structure disposed on the substrate and including a gate electrode and a drain electrode; and a data line disposed on the substrate. Herein, from a top view, the data line is separated from the drain electrode, an edge of the gate electrode overlaps the drain electrode, the edge has two ends, and a first direction is parallel to a connection line of the two ends. In addition, from the top view, the drain electrode has a first distance and a second distance, the first distance is a maximum distance of the drain electrode not overlapping the gate electrode in the first direction, the second distance is a maximum distance of the drain electrode overlapping the gate electrode in the first direction, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.

Display device

A display device includes: a substrate; a scan line disposed on the substrate; a common electrode disposed on the substrate and including a through hole having a curved edge, wherein the through hole and at least a portion of the scan line are overlapped; a pixel electrode disposed on the substrate and including a slit; and an active layer disposed on the substrate, wherein the active layer and at least a portion of the slit are overlapped.

Display panel and display device including the same

A display panel and a display device including the same are disclosed. The display panel includes: a substrate; plural scan lines disposed on the substrate, wherein the plural scan lines extend along a first direction; and a common electrode disposed on the substrate, wherein the common electrode includes a through hole having a curved edge, wherein the through hole overlaps at least a portion of one of the plural scan lines along a direction perpendicular to a surface of the substrate.

A display device is disclosed, which includes: a substrate; a first metal conductive layer disposed on the substrate; a semiconductor layer disposed on the first metal conductive layer; and a second metal conductive layer disposed on the semiconductor layer and including a data line, a first part and a second part separated from the first part, the data line with a data extending direction connected to the second part. A first extending direction is a direction that the first part extends toward the second part, a first region is a region that the first part overlaps the first metal conductive layer, the first part has a first maximum breadth outside the first region along the data extending direction and a second maximum breadth inside the first region along a direction substantially perpendicular to the first extending direction, and the first maximum breadth is greater than the second maximum breadth.

A display device is disclosed, which comprises: a substrate; a first metal conductive layer disposed on the substrate; a semiconductor layer disposed on the first metal conductive layer and having a top surface; and a second metal conductive layer disposed on the top surface and comprising a first part and a second part. Herein, a first extending direction is defined as a direction that the first part extends toward the second part, the first part has a maximum length in a first region that the first part overlaps the first metal conductive layer along the first extending direction, the first part has a maximum width in a second region that the first part overlaps the semiconductor layer along a second direction vertical to the first extending direction, and the maximum length is greater than the maximum width and less than or equal to twice of the maximum width.

A display panel is disclosed, which includes: a substrate; plural scan lines disposed on the substrate and extending along a first direction; a first insulating layer disposed on the scan lines; plural data lines disposed on the first insulating layer and extending along a second direction; a second insulating layer disposed on the data lines; and a common electrode disposed on the second insulating layer and including a through hole; wherein, the through hole includes a first region and a second region, the first region has a first maximum width along the first direction, the second region has a second maximum width along the first direction, and a ratio of the second maximum width over the first maximum width is greater than 0 and less than 1.

A display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second substrates, and a pixel array disposed on the first substrate and including at least one pixel, which includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and an insulation layer disposed between the first and second electrode layers. A pixel array is disposed on a first substrate and comprises a pixel having a first electrode layer including a plurality of electrode portions. A light-blocking layer is disposed on a second substrate along a first direction and includes a first light-blocking portion and a second light-blocking portion. The first electrode layer is between the first light-blocking portion and the second light-blocking portion. The first light-blocking portion has a first edge away from the first electrode layer, and the electrode portions include a first electrode portion adjacent to the first light-blocking portion. A brightness distribution of the pixel along the first direction has a first maximum brightness corresponding to a first position on the second substrate. PTB denotes the minimum width from the first position to the first edge, Px denotes the width of the pixel along the first direction, conforming to the following equation: 

A display panel is provided. The display panel includes a first sub-pixel row including a plurality of sub-pixels electrically connecting to a scan line; and a second sub-pixel row including a plurality of sub-pixels, wherein the scan line overlaps with an area of the sub-pixels of the second sub-pixel row, and the scan line overlaps with an edge of a first sub-pixel of the sub-pixels of the first sub-pixel row, wherein the edge is adjacent to a driving transistor of the first sub-pixel.

Display panels and electronic devices comprising the same

An electrode layer of a display panel includes a first trunk electrode extended along a first direction and a plurality of first and second branch electrodes disposed on two sides of the first trunk electrode. The first branch electrodes are separated by a distance (T). The first branch electrode has a first curved side, and the second branch electrode has a second curved side. The first curved side and second curved side have a first shortest distance (A) therebetween along a second direction. A first vertex is the highest point or lowest point of the first curved side along the first direction, and a second vertex is the highest point or lowest point of the second curved side along the first direction. The first vertex and second vertex have a second shortest distance (B) therebetween along the second direction. The equation of 0.5T&#x2266;(B&#x2212;A)&#x2266;T is satisfied.

A substrate structure includes a first substrate, a plurality of first bonding pads, a second substrate and a connecting layer. The first substrate has an element configuration area and a peripheral area. The peripheral area is located around the element configuration area. The first bonding pads are configured spacing at the peripheral area, and a gap is provided between two adjacent first bonding pads. The first bonding pads are located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The connecting layer is located between the first bonding pads and the second substrate. The part of the connecting layer close to the element configuration area is configured with a plurality of first arc edges.

Display panel

A display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a first transparent conductive layer and a first alignment layer. The first transparent conductive layer includes a first surface and has at least a first notch, the first alignment layer includes a first part and a second part, the first part is disposed in the first notch, the second part is disposed on the first surface, and the surface roughness of the first part of the first alignment layer is greater than that of the second part. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.
