A laryngoscope and system are provided, the laryngoscope comprising a handle, an arm, a camera harness comprising a deployable camera, and a light. The arm comprises a first canal adapted to receive the camera upon deployment and a second canal adapted to transmit light from the handle into an oral cavity. The handle comprises a remote ejection element. The laryngoscope system comprises a handle capable of direct wireless communication with a display unit.

Laryngoscope, laryngoscope arm and laryngoscope system

A Laryngoscope system for controlling and monitoring characteristics associated with airway management and a remote access unit continuously interfacing through instant wireless private direct connectivity to a laryngoscope. The system also includes a plurality of sensors and controllers that measure and control characteristics and provide the remote unit with measurements and control results. In other aspects, the laryngoscope and display unit are sensitive to movement and may power on and off with motion or absence of motion. In another aspect, the laryngoscope is capable of wirelessly communicating with the screen for command and control of the Laryngoscope and laryngoscope system.

Wireless control of laryngoscope system

In accordance with the present design there is provided a method utilizing a novel laryngoscope design that inserts a bougie along a canal on one side of a sheath; the sheath being further comprised of a canal capable of being threaded with a bougie, providing a method of access for guiding a Bougie into the trachea, while facilitating a method for the removal of oral/pharyngeal secretions, by placing a suction catheter in a canal through which a method for creating suction is provided; and further the bougie canal provides a method of facilitating placement of a topical anesthetic by providing a channel through which a local anesthetic can be sprayed.
