Systems, methods, and computer programming products for alleviating ambiguity amongst the terms and language displayed by the user interface of software products and services. The disclosed solutions catalog terms displayed by the UI of software and services and identify where overlapping terms with the same or substantially similar term names are presented by the UI but have different meanings than the software most familiar to the user. Natural language processing is leveraged to derive meanings of software terms using the context of the surrounding words and text elements within the UI, as well as product documentation, error messages, sentiment and other textual clues. Ambiguity among overlapping terms is alleviated by modifying the UI, highlighting differences in term definitions from the software or services a user is most familiar with using, and updating the UI in a manner that differentiates the overlapping terms displayed by accessed products or services.

User interface disambiguation

A method and system for dynamically customizing website displays is provided. Upon receiving a request from a user to display a web page, the geographic locations of items described on the web page is determined as well as the geographic location of the user. A relevance of the locations on the web page to the user is determined according to proximity. If the locations are determined to be relevant to the user weather data associated with the locations on the web page and the location of the user is retrieved. Content on the web page related to the weather data is identified, and the standard style sheet for the web page is modified to generate a customized style sheet, wherein weather-related content is displayed more prominently than it would be in the standard style sheet.

Dynamic web site display customization based on local weather events

Various embodiments for managing dialog comments by a processor are provided. Each communication of a dialog communicated by one or more users using one of a plurality of applications may be monitored, tracked, and/or analyzed using a machine learning operation and/or a natural language processing operation. A topic trajectory of the dialog may be identified between one or more users using one of a plurality of applications. A selected comment submitted by the one or more users may be automatically transformed according to one or more corrective actions upon the selected communication deviating from the topic trajectory.

A plurality of annotations can be received for a presentation presented in a web conference. A respective relevance parameter can be assigned to each of the annotations. Each relevance parameter can indicate a relevance of a respective annotation to a portion of the presentation to which the annotation pertains. For each of the annotations, a decay model based on the respective relevance parameter can be generated. The decay model can indicate different durations of time the annotation is to be visible to different participants participating in the web conference based on respective expertise levels of the participants. Each respective annotation can be presented with the presentation in accordance with the decay model generated for the respective annotation.

Synchronizing collaboration times for members of a team includes extracting emotive content and topical indicia from conversation data generated from multiple electronically captured conversations involving the team members. A model for generating time-based collaboration profiles for each member with respect to a specific topic can be constructed based on the emotive content and topical indicia. A synchronized collaboration time for the members of the team can be determined based on comparisons of each team member's respective collaboration profile.

Collaborative or social reference data for the different versions of the reference materials is analyzed to identify authors and contributors of subject matter contained in the reference materials. The assigned affinity weights are aggregated to generate a cumulative relevance for the authors and contributors, wherein the cumulative relevance is used to infer which of the authors and contributors are the micro-editing experts within the appropriate network for the subject matter contained in the reference materials. A view is generated that identifies the micro-editing experts within the appropriate network.

A visitor requests to view a profile of a user while the visitor is visiting the environment or tenant space of a different organization. The organization of the visitor is obtained. Furthermore, the organization and network contacts of the user whose profile is requested to be viewed are obtained in response to validating the visitor's organization. The requested profile is then displayed to the visitor containing the accessible network contacts (if any) of the user based on whether the user and the visitor belong to the same organization.

A method and system ensures recording quality of a web conference in a computer networked environment. A web conference is monitored including a client computer initiating the web conference and a network connection for a server computer used to share the client computer screen with other client computers in a networked computer environment communicating with the server. A quality of service (QoS) level is determined for a server network connection of the server computer and a client network connection of the client computer. The QoS level is determined using one or more factors. The web conference is recorded using the server network connection at the server computer or at the client network connection at the client computer based on the QoS threshold being met using the server network connection for recording the web conference.

The method may also include activating the proxy persona in response to a manual activation by the user or an automatic activation based on the plurality predetermined configuration rules being satisfied. The method may further include authorizing the proxy persona to participate in the meeting on behalf of the user, wherein the authorization is in response to the proxy persona being activated.
