A printed electronic device may comprise a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern, a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads, and a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers. The plurality of contact pads comprises at least one unmodified contact pad having a surface area, shape and size, the plurality of contact pads further comprising at least one modified contact pad having a reduced surface area, and a different size, a different shape, or both, as compared to the at least one unmodified contact pad.

Printed electronic devices exhibiting improved yield

Printed electronic devices are provided. In embodiments, such a device comprises a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern; a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads; a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers; and a protective layer covering the plurality of electrode traces, the protective layer formed from a curable composition comprising an amine modified polyester (meth)acrylate, a (meth)acrylated amine oligomer, a (meth)acrylate monomer, a clay mineral, and a photoinitiator.

Protective layers for high-yield printed electronic devices

A coated, printed electronic device may comprise a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern, a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads, a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers, and a protective layer covering the plurality of electrode traces and extending laterally beyond each edge of each electrode trace to provide a buffer zone surrounding each electrode trace, the buffer zone extending from an end of each electrode trace to cover a portion of each associated contact pad in an overlapping region, wherein each contact pad also has at least one uncovered edge.

Coated printed electronic devices exhibiting improved yield

The present teachings described a bias charging member and a method of manufacture. The bias charging member includes a conductive core and an outer surface layer disposed on the conductive core. The outer surface layer includes a water soluble polyamide resin, and a water soluble aminoplast resin.

Electrostatic charging member

The present teachings described a bias charging member and a method of manufacture. According to an embodiment, there is provided a bias charging member. The bias charging member includes an outer surface layer disposed on the conductive core. The outer surface layer includes ceramic microspheres having an average size of from 1 micron to 40 microns present in an amount of from about 5 to about 40 weight percent of the outer layer.

Described is a transfer assist blade for an electrostatographic machine. The electrostatographic machine includes a charging station for charging a copy sheet to attract a developed image from an image bearing surface to a copy sheet wherein said charging station includes a corona generating device. The transfer assist blade includes a wear layer having a surface resistance of greater than about 10ohms. The transfer assist blade includes an interior layer having a thickness of from about 150 microns to about 500 microns. The transfer assist blade includes a back layer including a polyethylene terephthalate film having an outer layer including cross-linked aziridine/carboxylated polyester at a weight ratio of from about 0.5/99.5 to about 40/60 and a conductive component, wherein an outer surface of the back layer has a surface resistance of from about 1&#xd7;10ohms to about 9.99&#xd7;10ohms.

Transfer assist blade

The present teachings provide a fuser member. The fuser member includes a substrate layer that includes a polyimide having dispersed therein a plurality of nanofibrillated cellulose particles. An intermediate layer is disposed on the substrate layer. A release layer is disposed on the intermediate layer.
