Systems and methods for recommending video game content based on video game performance are disclosed. A level is identified from among a sequence of playable levels of a currently active video game. A video game performance metric for the identified level is determined. Based on the determined video game performance metric, a video of a performance of the identified level of the video game is selected for recommendation from among a plurality of videos stored in a database in association with corresponding video game performance metrics. An option, which is selectable to cause playback of the selected video, is transmitted for display via a computing device.

Gaming content recommendation based on gaming performance

Systems and methods for providing game content recommendation of a video game based on player's performance are disclosed. Prior to an actual video game play, a performance metric is calculated based on a stored player data and video settings of the game. The performance metric is evaluated to further calculate a performance metric of video game play session content indicative of aspects of actual video game play. A metrics data of each player in determined from the video game play session content. Prior to an actual MOBA video game play, a player data stored for each player of each team is analyzed to evaluate a video game session content. The player data is associated with the video game play session and stored settings for the MOBA video game. The player data includes attack metrics, defense metrics, and damage metrics to determine to evaluate the video game play session content. During the actual MOBA video game play, an in-game performance of each player of each team in the video game play session content is analyzed to recommend the video game plays session. Such analysis is based on game map of the video game play session and in game metrics determined from the video game play session.
