A method for multi-protocol monitoring and correlation includes aggregating captured network performance data including a plurality of captured network performance metrics for a plurality of subscriber session records associated with a plurality of protocols. A first level of correlation is performed between the plurality of subscriber session records using one or more direct correlation rules. The correlated subscriber session records associated with the plurality of protocols are related to the same subscriber session. A second level of correlation is performed between the correlated subscriber session records using one or more indirect correlation rules based on the performed first level of correlation.

Multi-protocol correlation for network subscriber troubleshooting

An Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) data set related to a monitored service is received from a plurality of interfaces. A service relationship model associated with a monitored service is determined. The service relationship model includes one or more service members. Performance of each of the service members is analyzed using the received ASI data set. Performance metrics are identified for each of the service members. The identified performance metrics are indicative of corresponding service member's performance. A graphical user interface displaying a graphical representation of the identified performance metrics is generated based on the analysis. The graphical representation provides an aggregated view indicative of performance of the service members.

Service summary view

An Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) data set related to a monitored service is received from a plurality of interfaces. Performance of a monitored service is analyzed within and outside of a context of the performed service using the acquired ASI data set. At least one of one or more relationship dependencies associated with a monitored service is determined. Performance of each of the at least one dependencies is analyzed using the acquired ASI data set. A report including one or more ASI data set values indicative of service performance degradation is generated based on the analysis.

Service analytics

A method for performing root cause analysis of failures in a computer network is provided. The method includes receiving an Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) data set related to one or more failures reported in the computer network from a plurality of interfaces. One or more impact events associated with the reported failures are identified based on the received ASI data set. Each of the identified impact events is correlated with one or more cause events. A situation record is selectively generated based on the correlation results.

Situation analysis

Connection activity between a device and service provider's network is monitored. Connection parameters calculated based on the connection activity are stored. An activity map is generated to capture and display the connection parameters which indicate activity or repeated patterns of activity over time. The activity utilizes a time grid to display a plurality of parameter regarding device status and activity. The x-axis of the time grid divides a time period into portions of time at a first time length. The y-axis of the time grid divides the portions of time at the first time length into smaller lengths of time at a second time length. Multiple layers of indicators are used in the time grid to indicate the status of several parameters during the same time period.
