Measurement report based radio link failure detection

Determining RRC processing delays for multi-subscriber identify module (MSIM) user equipments (UEs) may include decoding a capabilities message from a UE that indicates the UE is an MSIM UE that includes at least a first SIM and a second SIM. A communication for the first SIM of the UE may be encoded. The communication may be configured to cause the UE to perform a radio resource control (RRC) procedure. A transmission request received from the UE may be decoded. The transmission request may be associated with the RRC procedure. In response to receiving the transmission request, an uplink (UL) gram may be scheduled for the first SIM of the UE.

RRC processing delays associated with multi-sim UES

Systems, methods, and devices authenticate mobile network cellular cells using asymmetric/public-key cryptography algorithms (e.g., Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA)) through integrity protecting the cellular cells broadcasted messages (e.g., paging and/or system information blocks (SIBs) system information broadcast messages) by message authentication code (MAC).

Coordinated leaving for a UE having a first SIM and a second SIM may include decoding, at a baseband processor, an RRC reconfiguration message associated with the first SIM received from a first network. A communication corresponding to the second SIM received from a second network is decoded while the baseband processor is processing the received RRC reconfiguration message. The communication received from the second network is determined to comprise a higher priority than the RRC reconfiguration procedure. Based on determining, a UAI message corresponding to the first SIM is encoded by the baseband processor for transmission to the first network. The UAI message is configured to inform the first network of coordinated leaving and abortion of the RRC reconfiguration procedure. The first SIM is transitioned to an idle mode. An RRC request corresponding to the second SIM is encoded by the baseband processor for transmission to the second network.

Coordinated leaving for concurrent RRC procedures in a multiple-SIM UE

A user equipment (UE) is configured to receive a mobility configuration from a source cell of a network, wherein the mobility configuration includes at least one mobility measurement object, determine that a radio link failure (RLF) event has occurred on the source cell, searching for a primary cell (PCell) only on frequencies associated with the at least one mobility measurement object to reestablish a radio resource control (RRC) connection and reestablish the RRC connection with the PCell.

Cell selection optimization during RRC reestablishment

A user equipment (UE) explicitly accounts for a coverage enhancement (CE or sometimes called enhanced coverage) feature in a public land mobile network (PLMN) search and/or selection. By explicitly using CE indicators in PLMN search and/or selection, a UE can determine whether to use a PLMN that may only be available in CE mode for voice services or data services, or fail to meet criteria, such as high data rate, that cannot be provided in CE mode. For example a UE can use the PLMN search and/or selection with (1) automatic PLMN selection at switch-on or recovery from lack of coverage, (2) higher priority PLMN selection, (3) manual PLMN selection, and/or (4) limited service capabilities while in CE mode.
