A method of monitoring network traffic of a connected vehicle. The method includes receiving network traffic information from a vehicle gateway, the network traffic information including malicious and/or benign information. The method also includes storing the network traffic information on a data server and periodically updating the network traffic information stored on the data server. The method further includes: pre-processing the network traffic information, the pre-processing the network traffic information including filtering and normalizing the network traffic information; generating a learning model based on the pre-processed network traffic information, the learning model being generated by an artificial intelligence learning; updating the learning model based on additional network traffic information, the additional network traffic information including real-time network data; in accordance with the updated learning model, detecting an anomaly event in the incoming network data; and generating a notification and/or blocking one or more packets associated with the incoming network data.

Systems and methods for cyber monitoring and alerting for connected aircraft

Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for vehicle collision notification and avoidance. One system may include attaching at least one camera to a vehicle, receiving vehicle information and geographic information regarding the vehicle and at least one other vehicle. The system may also include predicting a next position of the vehicle and the other vehicle, and determine whether the vehicle will collide with the other vehicle based on a comparison of the next position of the vehicle and the next position of the other vehicle. The system may also include generating a graphical representation of the collision of the vehicle and the other vehicle and may transmit the graphic representation to a user device.

Systems and methods for vehicle pushback collision notification and avoidance

Methods and systems are provided for classifying notice to airmen (NOTAM) alerts to a pilot of an aircraft. First, bundled NOTAMs are received during the flight planning process for the aircraft. A domain rules set for a filter engine on board the aircraft is created that prioritizes the bundled NOTAMs based on their criticality. The domain rules set is updated with weather data and day/night visibility analysis. The prioritized critical NOTAMs are stored on board in an electronic database and retrieved during the relevant phase of the flight path of the aircraft. The NOTAM messages are then displayed to the pilot on a graphical display device on board the aircraft.

System and method for real-time classification of NOTAMs messages

A method for validating an operational flight path of an aircraft has been developed. First, a flight path for the aircraft is created using navigation, terrain and obstacle data retrieved from off-line databases. Next, real-time terrain and obstacle update information is captured from flight data sensors on board the aircraft while in flight. Also, light direction and range (LIDAR) data from LIDAR sensors on board the aircraft is collected. A boundary profile is calculated for the flight path based upon the real-time terrain and obstacle update information in combination with the LIDAR data. The flight path is validated using the boundary profile. The results of the validation of the flight path is generated as a report for the aircraft crew.

Method and system for real-time validation of an operational flight path for an aircraft

A system and method for determining an optimum flight slot for an aircraft are provided. The method, for example, may include, but is not limited to, receiving flight plan input data from a client device, generating a flight plan based upon the flight plan input data, the flight plan including a plurality of fixes, determining a plurality of time slots based upon the flight plan input data, determining a traffic density for each fix along the flight plan for each of the plurality of slots, the traffic density based upon a number of aircraft within a bounding area containing each respective fix, determining the optimum flight time slot from the plurality of time slots based upon a weighted summation of the traffic density for each fix along the flight plan for each of the plurality of slots, and transmitting the optimum flight time slot to the client device.

A system for data aggregation and distribution comprises a context builder that receives a data request from a consumer, and a producers locator that communicates with producers. A producers filter receives a list of producers and selects producers capable of providing data relevant to context information. A data requests formatter receives the context information, and sends the data request to the selected producers. A data responses validator validates data responses from producers, and a data responses processor processes validated data responses. A data predictor receives processed data responses and context information, and generates data prediction information. A data fusion module receives processed data responses, context information, data prediction information, and data history. The data fusion module combines processed data responses with data prediction information to generate a consolidated data response for the consumer. The data fusion module also considers data prediction information upon receiving a request for predicted data when real-time data is unavailable.

A method for providing air traffic control (ATC) message data onboard an aircraft is provided. The method identifies ATC commands associated with text-based messages, by at least one processor onboard the aircraft, wherein the ATC commands comprise instructions to follow one or more particular procedures associated with the ATC audio messages and the ATC direct text messages; identifies, by the at least one processor, graphical content associated with the ATC commands; and presents an ATC graphical rendering environment comprising at least the graphical content, via at least one aircraft onboard display communicatively coupled to the at least one processor.

Systems and methods for graphical visualization of communication transmissions received onboard an aircraft

A method for providing landing assistance for an aircraft is provided. The method analyzes terrain data; identifies one or more landing zones, based on analyzing the terrain data, each of the one or more landing zones comprising a flat area lacking obstacles to aircraft landing; and presents the one or more landing zones via a display element onboard the aircraft.

Methods and apparatus for identifying terrain suitable for aircraft landing

Systems and methods of precision landing in adverse conditions are provided. In one embodiment, a precision landing system comprises a vehicle including: a receiver configured to receive position information for structures and a landing zone of a landing site and a processor coupled to a memory, the memory includes three-dimensional geometric structural information for a landing site. The processor configured to: receive the position information from the receiver; assign geographical coordinates to the three-dimensional geometric structural information using the position information for the structures and the landing zone of the landing site; send the three-dimensional geometric structural information and graphical rendering information to a display device. The vehicle further includes a display device, wherein the display device is configured to render and display a three-dimensional representation of the landing site in real-time based on the three-dimension geometric structural information and the graphical rendering information from the processor.

Systems and methods of precision landing for offshore helicopter operations using spatial analysis

The embodiments described herein can provide systems and methods for combining traditional navigational data with temporary updates. Such a system and method can facilitate the inclusion of temporary navigational events into the navigational data made available on aircraft flight management system (FMS). For example, the systems and methods can be used to combine Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control (AIRAC) navigational data that is traditionally updated on 28 day cycles, with temporary navigational data changes, such as those typically indicated in 'Notices to Airmen' (NOTAM). The combined navigational dataset can then be provided to the FMS.

System and method for integrating temporal data into flight management systems

Methods and systems are provided for providing procedure information associated with an aircraft procedure onboard an aircraft. An exemplary method involves obtaining a briefing sequence for the aircraft procedure and providing the procedure information via the output device, wherein the procedure information is provided in accordance with the briefing sequence. When the output device is realized as an audio output device, the procedure information is sequentially provided auditorily via the audio output device. In one or more embodiments, the procedure information is sequentially indicated on a display device onboard the aircraft in concert with the auditorily provided procedure information.

Navigation system

Methods and systems are provided for presenting information on a display device associated with an aircraft. An exemplary method involves displaying a navigational map on the display device, obtaining status information for the aircraft, determining an amount of procedure information to be displayed based at least in part on the status information, and displaying the determined amount of aircraft procedure information on the display device overlying the navigational map. The procedure information prescribes operation of the aircraft during execution of an aircraft procedure.
