Disclosed is an electro-hydraulic actuator for providing mechanical actuation. The electro-hydraulic actuator comprises a housing having a first chamber and a second chamber and a gear pump arranged within the first chamber. The gear pump is configured to pump fluid from the first chamber into the second chamber. Furthermore, the electro-hydraulic actuator comprises a piston assembly comprising a piston-head slidably arranged within the second chamber, a piston-rod coupled to the piston-head, and a rack configured as piston-rod. The rack comprises a plurality of teeth and the rack is configured to move linearly corresponding to the linear movement of the piston-rod. Moreover, the electro-hydraulic actuator comprises a shaft arranged within the first chamber and orthogonally to the piston-rod and a pinion mounted on the shaft. The pinion is configured to rotate upon linear movement of the rack to cause rotation of the shaft, for providing the mechanical actuation.

A rotary ball valve with an improved sealing arrangement, comprising of a valve body and a rotary ball, the rotary ball valve has a plurality of combination sealing arrangement comprising of a polarized combination cavity having a non-parallel slot and an extended groove, an add-on sealing ring and a compatible seat ring having a plurality of non-parallel concentric surfaces, when assembled. The compatible seat ring has a compatible profile so as to create a positive isolation by a surface contact between the add-on sealing ring and the extended groove and create another positive isolation by a surface contact between the add-on sealing ring and the compatible seat ring. The positive isolation prevents leakage during thermal cycling, pressure variations. The non-parallel slot and the compatible sealing ring therein prevents dislodgement of the seat ring; even in double block and bleed condition.

A heat sink and radiator on the back of the housing provides heat transfer to a surrounding environment behind the lamp enclosure to cool the electronics. The electronics may be sealed in the housing for protection against entry of foreign substances. The electronics housing is fixed to the access opening of the lamp enclosure and to a boss or reflector mounted in the lamp enclosure, thus providing stable two-point fixation for the unit, reducing vibration.
