Method and system for application authenticity attestation

Methods, systems, and computer program products are described herein for updating big data tables using snapshot isolation. The tables may store data (e.g., as data objects) collected from different users. The tables are stored in a first data store. The data's metadata is stored in a second data store. The metadata comprises version numbers for the objects that correspond to a consistent version thereof. When an update process for the table is initiated, a coordinator locks the metadata, and. the objects are updated. If the update to the objects is successful, the coordinator commits the updates and obtains the new version numbers of the objects. If all the commits are successful, the coordinator atomically updates the metadata with the new version numbers and releases the lock. However, if a commit to an object is unsuccessful, a subsequent process rolls back the committed objects to the version numbers specified by the metadata.

Techniques for updating big data tables using snapshot isolation

Further, work item rules may be configured to be subject to creation and change by users, for example, by exposure to users through a user interface. A work item rule may specify an identifier by which the abstraction can be identified and/or a name, and may specify, or be indicative of, a condition and an action to be taken if the condition is satisfied. In response to a first user action affecting a first work item rule, one or more work item rules corresponding to the first user and/or the first work item may be determined. The one or more work item rules then may be interpreted, and the user action responded to based on the interpretation.

In one embodiment, a computing device may compress a text file for storage by dynamically creating an encoding table. A storage device of the computing device may store an encoding table populated by string characters from a text file. A processor of the computing device may encode the text file by replacing a string character in a text string of the text file with a table index position of that string character in the encoding table. The processor of the computing device may decode the text file by replacing the table index position with the string character at the table index position in the encoding table.
