Described herein is a low-temperature catalyst and method of use for causing an exothermic reaction in a low temperature environment. The mixture can include sodium nitrite, an ammonium-based compound, and an oxidizer and can be injected into a fluid flow path. The fluid flow path can be a pipeline, a flowline, a wellbore, or a subterranean formation. The mixture can cause an exothermic reaction in the fluid flow path and remove, using the exothermic reaction, a damaging material from the fluid flow path.

Catalyst for exothermic reaction in a wellbore

Described herein is a combination of a catalyst and an activator and method of use for causing an exothermic reaction in a low temperature environment. The mixture can include sodium nitrite, an ammonium-based compound, a catalyst that comprises an oxidizer, and an activator and can be injected into a fluid flow path. The fluid flow path can be a pipeline, a flowline, a wellbore, or a subterranean formation. The mixture can cause an exothermic reaction in the fluid flow path and remove, using the exothermic reaction, a damaging material from the fluid flow path.

Catalyst and activator for exothermic reaction

The present disclosure is directed to an aqueous gellable composition that includes water; 10 to 45 composition wt. % of a crosslinkable water-soluble polymer including at least one functional group selected from the group of carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid derivative; 1 to 10 composition wt. % of an organic or inorganic crosslinking agent for the crosslinkable water-soluble polymer; 10 to 40 composition wt. % of a polyurethane polymer; and 0.1 to 5 composition wt. % of a natural polymer. The organic crosslinking agent includes at least one compound from the group of: polyalkyleneimines, polyalkylene polyamines, phenolic compounds combined with formaldehyde, and hydroquinone combined with hexamethylenetetramine. Also, the inorganic crosslinking agent includes at least one metal compound M, wherein M is from the group of: aluminum(III), chromium(III), iron(III), zirconium(III), and any mixture thereof.

A breaker composition comprising (i) a first acid precursor, (ii) a second acid precursor and (iii) an aqueous fluid wherein the first acid precursor has an effective operating temperature of from about 15&#xb0; C. to about 120&#xb0; C. and the second acid precursor has an effective operating temperature of from about 30&#xb0; C. to about 180&#xb0; C.

Filter cake removal compositions and methods of making and using same

Various embodiments disclosed relate to delayed crosslinking compositions or reaction products thereof for treatment of a subterranean formation. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation including placing in a subterranean formation a subterranean treatment composition including at least one of a delayed crosslinking composition and a reaction product thereof. The delayed crosslinking composition includes a crosslinker including a functionality chosen from &#x2014;B(OH), &#x2014;B(OH), &#x2014;O&#x2014;B(OH)&#x2014;O&#x2014;B(OH)&#x2014;O&#x2014;, &#x2014;O&#x2014;B(OH)&#x2014;O&#x2014;B(OH)(&#x2014;O&#x2014;), a salt thereof, an ester thereof, and a combination thereof. The delayed crosslinking composition also includes a glycol including at least one of a 1,2-diol and a 1,3-diol.

Delayed crosslinking composition or reaction product thereof for treatment of a subterranean formation

Disclosed is a screen packer assembly for use in filtering hydrocarbons in a wellbore at a subterranean location. The screen-packer assembly connects in a production tubing string and packs off the wellbore and provides an axial filter path for hydrocarbons through the assembly and into the productions tubing.

A process for chemically removing cured resin product from subterranean formations in case of inappropriate consolidation, plugging of screens or tubing, and equipment damage. A chemical solvent is introduced to a wellbore where a resin has cured. The resin is contacted with the chemical solvent until the resin at least partially dissolves. The dissolved resin is then removed from the wellbore. The process may also be used to remove consolidated packs consisting of cured resin and particulate materials.

Removing cured resins from subterranean formations and completions

A network association mining algorithm and associated methods are presented which accepts data from biological and other experiments and automatically produces a network and attempts to explain the behavior of the biological or other system underlying the data using evolutionary techniques. The model and associated methods aim to identify the inter-relationships consistent with data and other prior knowledge supplied to the system. The network is represented in terms of coupled dynamical system. These dynamical systems are represented by differential or difference equations to educe these dynamical systems and coupling between them, an evolutionary algorithm is used. The output of the linkage finder could assist scientists to better understand the systems underlying and to guess at surrogate data.

System and method for inferring a network of associations

A network inference and validation engine is presented which combines data of different types into a network associations' inference and performs validation of existing networks based on constraints from several data sets or previously known linkages. The engine would assist scientists to integrate information from various sources into a network of association, validate previously known associations against the supplied constraint data sets and prune or modify existing connections based on subsequent experiments.
