In a bone implant with a pan that is designed so that it is mainly in the form of a segment of a sphere for receiving the head of a femoral bone prosthesis, and with pin-type fastening means for anchoring the pan in the hip bone of the patient. The pan further includes recesses to receive the fastening means. In order to create a modular pan replacement, the recesses are designed for an axially parallel arrangement of the fastening means, and the recesses can be provided with stops to prevent movement of the fastening means towards the interior of the pan. The fastening means are threadless in the area which is inserted into the hip bone of the patient.

A device for removing a bone cement tube surrounding a prosthesis shaft from the bone cavity after removal of the endoprosthesis which comprises an ultrasonic generator with an essentially cylindrical guide section, the free end of which carries the sonotrode which emits the ultrasound, whereby the diameter of the guide section is less than the internal diameter of the bone cement tube and its length is adapted to the length of the prosthesis shaft or to the length of the bone cement tube.

A bone implant, in particular as a shaft-type prosthesis, which has a mirror-symmetrical shape is proposed, wherein for adaptation to bone regions of the left or right half of the body that in themselves are not mirror-symmetrical, the part having mirror-symmetrical shape forms a basic element, and a separately shaped additional element is provided that is joined or can be joined to the basic element in such a manner that a bone implant that is not mirror-symmetrical and is usable only on the left or right side of the body is produced.
